Thank you Ted for starting the great foundation of players who play "The Raven Way", which has continued through the years...... You were one of the best head coaches to ever come along for our Colts, and for our new Ravens, R.I.P. and prayers to your family.....

From the Baltimore Colts to the Baltimore Ravens, he has certainly etched his place in Baltimore football history.  As the "founding father" of our Ravens coaching history and the "the Raven Way", may you eternally rest in peace. My sincerest condolences to the Marchibroda family.

Ted was the catalyst for the RAVENS Super Bowl run in 2000. Billick had a team ready to surge when he replaced Ted. Ted has been linked to Baltimore in several ways. The first was when the Steelers decided to keep him as one of their QB's and let Unitas go. We all know how that story ended. He did a great job being the HC with the Colts back in the 70's as well. The RAVENS first HC and he helped lay the foundation for the team that we are all now so proud of. Rest in Peace Ted.

I remember as a young teenager when he was the HC of the Colts and Bert Jones had the Cinderella season seeing him on TV in the early 70's. He was a soft spoken man, but you could see the passion he had for the game and the pride in his team. Our prayers to his family. GO RAVENS!

One of the first football games I really was interested in and remember, was the last regular season game of the '75 season. Colts won their ninth straight in the fog at Memorial stadium, 10-7, to win the AFC East. Although they won the SB in, I guess it was '71, they were apparently pretty crappy the couple'a years before '75. Ted turned it around for 'em pretty quickly though, along with MY favorite Colt, Bert Jones. It was a no-brainer to have Ted be the first HC of the Ravens. Thanks for the memories.
