Bias Bill Cowher

Of course Nobody picked us to win the AFC Championship game on CBS except Shannon Sharp. On their Segment called Crunch-Time, Every single question that involved the Steelers, he picks them in every phase of the show. He's been doin that all year long. He shouldn't be an analyst if he's gonna show favortism in his comments or opinions. Do you all agree?

Shannon Sharpe won a Super Bowl in Baltimore, so he is biased as well...

they never pick us, whether it's ESPN, CBS, or Fox. but that is ok, once we continue winning that is all that matters. we don't need their respect or acknowledgment.

He didn't pick the Ravens yesterday. Cowher is bad though...I think he likes Roethlisberger a little too much.

Yeah, but shannon doesn't pick us all the time. I've seen him favor other teams. But, Cowher doesnt even try to fake it a little.

Did you really think he wouldn't side with the Steelers every single time? It's not suprising to me at all because thats what you get when you have ex players and coaches as analysts. You get biased opinions. If you want to see a group thats biased towards us in a positive way, just watch the NFL Network. Those guys LOVE Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. Even "Prime Time" told Ray that he'll see him in Tampa after the Titans game.

Don't worry who they pick. They don't play the game or have any barring on what the scoreboard says at the end of the game.

Don't hate on Cowher, the man spent a good chunk of his life in that organization, of course he has a special place in his heart for the team.

I agree with him that Big Ben is the best QB out of Manning and Rivers for one reason, Manning and Rivers can lose games by being rattled. Big Ben may throw a pick or two but he goes out there and puts it all on the line no matter what.

Come on now, lol. They are ALL biased.

The Steelers hardly ever get respect from anyone too on these shows. Everyone except the ex steelers, hates them.

This post was originally criticizing Cowher for picking the Steelers to beat us next week; my point was that Shannon was the only guy on that panel to pick the Ravens to win in the AFCCG, and he played for the Ravens. I do agree, though, that Cowher is stupidly biased.

but you see...bens worth is not measured in stats

he is a field general......hes a master of the two minute drill

he never gives up.....he runs around and takes the hits for the big play.......he makes tackles....he punted in this last game....he is the leader of a team...not a solo player like some qbs

You didn't read what I said... This was about the bias of Cowher and during the pre-game he said that Big Ben was better than Eli Manning and Phillip Rivers and I agree with him. I think Ben has the best poise of all three.

I think Ben is better than Brees and Jay Cutler by far. Both are too mistake prone and don't bounce back well enough from their mistakes.

McNabb hasn't won a SB and is injured too much lately but I can't say that Ben is better by far just I think he has a little bit of an edge.

Brady, No! I can't put Ben over Tom Brady because the man is a monster.

I agree with you on most points friend but I think Brady is still better... I won't take anything away from Big Ben, I think he is a very good field general and all my comments back that. But Brady and Peyton are just well they are legends IMO. They are on a whole different level than the other quarterbacks in this league. I have mad respect for Ben and I think he will be mentioned on a high tier as a really good QB but I don't think he has reached Brady or P. Manning's level. I think Brady has great poise...
