KDUBB44 Mock Draft

59 posts in this topic

1.Titans-Laremy Tunsil

Protection for Mariota

2. Browns- Jared Goff

I don't think Goff should be going #2 but no way in Hell Cleveland starts next year with Manziel and/or McCown.

3. Chargers-Joey Bosa

BPA and Pass Rushing issues solved

4. Cowboys-Myles Jack

I think this is a toss up between Treadwell and Jack. If Jones was drafting 5 years ago it'd be Treadwell. But recently he's been drafting logically, So I'd go with Mack.

5. Jaguars-Jalen Ramsey

Playmaking Corner and Position need=Check

6. *Trade*-Rams-Paxton Lynch

Wait we passed on Treadwell and Stanley??? Rams are moving to LA. No way they are starting next year with Foles/Davis as their qb. They'll want to snatch Lynch before SF and I think we can make them overpay in this situation.

7. 49ers-Ronnie Stanley

Stanley can play at RT

8. Dolphins- Vernon Hargreaves III

Miami needs help at corner

9. Bucaneers- Deforest Buckner

D-line help

10. Giants-Laquon Treadwell

Cruz is not coming back from that injury

11. Bears-Reggie Ragland

It seems that the Bears have been hurting for LB's for years.

12. Saints-Mackensie Alexander

Horrible Pass D last year

13. Eagles-Shaq Lawson

I had trouble with this pick, but I think Lawson is solid value at this point

14. Raiders-Robert Nkemdiche

D-line help

15. Ravens-A'Shawn Robinson

Not a popular pick, but Ozzie loves Bama players and I don't think he'll pass Robinson at this value.

16. Lions- Taylor Decker

Stafford could use some blocking

17. Falcons- Emmanuel Ogbah

A DE for ATL who can rush the qb

18. Colts-Jack Conklin

Luck needs some protection

19. Bills- Carson Wentz

Taylor isn't the answer

20. Jets- Ezekiel Elliot

I think Chris Ivory is extremely overrated. He tends to break down as the season progresses.

21. Redskins- Jarran Reed

D-line help

22. Texans- Connor Cook

Texans are pretty desperate....

23. Vikings- Corey Coleman

Hey look a WR for Teddy..

24. Bengals-Jayron Kearse

Cincy has two FA safeties

25. Steelers- Eli Apple

CB help for the Steelers

26. Seahawks- Shon Coleman

Wilson needs some protection

27. Packers- Germain Ifedi

^

28.Chiefs- Cody Whitehair

Guard help for Chiefs

29. Broncos- Hunter Henry

Future TE for Broncos

30. Cardinals- Leonard Floyd

Pass Rusher for AZ

31. Panthers- Jonathan Allen

Pass Rusher for Car

I think we can get both their second rounders. I prefer Robinson over Ogbah and I think he can immediately step in to form a line of Robinson-Williams-Jernigan

I agree to an extent, but i think Ogbah fills a need more, he can learn behind Sizz.  I think our DL is going to be very strong already.

I'm not sure Robinson falls that far, it wouldn't surprise me if he went top 5. And I don't think Two 2nds is really worth trading back in this draft.

The second I heard the move yesterday, I mentioned it, so for me, I love it.

I think we will be able to get a little more out of them, which will allow us to maneuver around more.

based on your Mock,I would trade back up and get "JUDGE TREAD"(usmccharles),

we just need the Browns to pick Bosa(keep their home state kid in state).

The rams keeping the Cali kid in Cali = win, win.

I do think it's possible that the rams will try to trade up for a qb with the news breaking they will be moving to LA. However I dont like the idea of moving back that far- so I'd hope that San Fran would outbid them. But if we did drop down to 15...definitely wouldn't take robinson. I would look at somebody like Leonard floyd, Alexander, maybe even Myles jack. Who knows, maybe even Treadwell falls that far. But the thought of getting two extra second rounders with the value in that area in this draft is pretty damn enticing.

I just can't get behind boosting our DL again with such needs at OT, CB, WR, and OLB. On top of that we need playmakers very badly on both sides of the ball and we need to fill our needs via the draft. I can't say for sure how much money in cap we'll have but it sounds like we'll be pretty inactive in FA this year. I really think the draft will be heavily relied upon to fill in the spots.

Just curious, what would we get from St.Louis in return? I'm not against trading down, I think the Rams will be super desperate but what would we get? Anything less than a 1st and I would stay put at 6 personally.

Their #15, #45, #107.

1015+450+80=1580 which is just 20pts shy of our 6 overall (1600).

that could be interesting I saw some mocks with Treadwell at 15 I don't think he would be there but having 4 picks in top 45 could be good take a pass rusher like you mentioned and add our 37th their 43rd and 45th and get a corner like Fuller or King a pass rusher Noah Spence and maybe a WR Boyd Thomas Doctson or possibly a T in that group it's just such a crap shoot but if Floyd Jack Ogbah

not sure if that's worth it to me. I would take a 2017 first and both of their second round picks for a drop all the way down to 15.

that is probably more like it

Considering they HAVE to move up to leapfrog the 49ers to get the only remaining 1st round caliber QB, they are going to have to exceed the value of the #6 pick by another pick at least, in this case we hold all of the leverage, they need that QB and we all know the 49ers won't pass on Lynch.

Guys guys, I'm sure if we were in this situation the FO could get max value from the Rams. I don't understand why the Robinson pick get's hated here. Canty is almost closed to retiring, Urban is unproven, and Guy is a rotational DE.

because we still have williams, jernigan, and have shown time and time again that if there is any position group that we can churn out good players from no-names, its DT.

if we invest in the DL again, it needs to be a DE, rather than yet another DT, we need some length, some athleticism, some guys who arent just out there being big and strong and pushing the pocket. give me buckner over robinson any day of the week, ESPECIALLY for this team.

also lets not forget, there is very slim chance than robinson falls to 16... hes more than likely a top 10 pick, maybe even top 5

Not to mention if its the Rams that trade up - them moving to LA puts some pressure on them to be at least decent, LA is a tough city, if you suck those stands may be a bit empty come sunday. A QB is a must, add in how many spots they are moving up and the fact that they are leapfrogging a team that will in all likelihood take the only other good QB, we would get fantastic compensation and then some

That's not good enough for me honestly. I'd rather just take my chance at pick 6.

You're right.

We don't have many positions of need like some teams which just have few solid pieces in addition to the QB; in that case it may be good to have more picks (an additional 2nd and 4th rounder is not few).

We simply need 1-2 playmakers and there's a visible drop in terms of talent after the top 10 imo. I'd keep my shining #6 too, unless crazy offers occur.

6 to 16, and leapfrogging SF, would get us next years first and this years 2nd probably.

the question that begs to be asked here is... when we call SF and tell them that the rams are giving a first and 2nd to take goff or lynch... would they match value and let us get our top guy while STILL getting a first next year?

I just don't see Fisher dealing with the Ravens at all AND I think Carson Wentz's name will be coming into play. He will most likely be available at 15

Fisher is going to be fighting for his job not to mention he'll be under tremendous pressure to find a franchise QB. Wasn't there a report that said he passed on a first for Foles? If its true that sounds like a horrible move. This is make-or-break year for him, if he wants to keep his job he should care less about his "beef" with Harbaugh and focus on his team.
