[News] Poll: Rooting For Steelers Or Bengals?

66 posts in this topic

Burfict is the ultimate head hunting dirtbag. Hope the league hammers him with fines and a suspension which goes in to next season. His hit on Antonio Brown was soooo intentional, not to mention incredibly stupid. Even the commentators on the post game show, ex players and ex head coaches are livid and fed up with his antics saying Burfict is a danger on the field and out of control. They are right.

I actually want the Steelers to win that game so l can laugh on there face all those W's in the regular season going 8-0 to start the season but can't win jack in the postseason. What a waste of a divison title year after year.

Joey Porter on the field with his headset shoving players. But Pacman gets flagged for trying to get their attention and they hand the Sqeelers a victory with 0 timeouts and 18 seconds left. Sorry fellas, but your hate for Pittsburgh should be much stronger than Cinci based on how consistently biased officiating is to their benefit. They know if the Squeelers advance prices for TV adds go up. Even the announcers couldn't stop trashing the Bengals. Terrible product NFL.

I wanted the Steelers to lose and unnecessary, stupid penalties killed that. Brown was not even going to catch the ball so there is no need to hit him. Be smart. Even after that it's a long field goal and Adam goes off. For all their chest beating and trash talk, they are an disgrace to their fans.

I hate both teams..

But it was nice to see the Bengals lose.. That team and the fans were getting a little full of themselves all year and it bugged me.. and after seeing the way they played and the way the fans behaved at the game I actually started rooting for the squealers.. hahaha sucks to be them right now!!!

Now for Spitt to lose next week against Denver.. haha

After tonight's game I could never root for Cincy ever again, ever, never. Foul fans of a magnitude that surpasses most rectal excretion. You just don't throw drinks and debris on an injured player while being carted off the field, even if it was Big Ben. I'd much rather see things the way they turned out. And the refs got this one right by penalizing the bungles with 2 consecutive 15 yard penalties. Marv Lewis must be humiliated and should consider not coaching at this location again. As for Burfict, he should be permanently suspended from football, period. The crown shot on Brown was malicious with possible extended physical injury to this player. Not cool. I really like the sport but not players who behave like morons.

Cincy LOL!!!! Now I know why I don't consider them a team that is on par with us ever! We can lose another 5 straight to them, but we are always a class of the division along with the Steelers. Always and forever. Cincy Bungles have thugs playing for them that lost them this game!

Our warriors and those of the Steelers have been clashing for 2 decades now. We've seen scuffles, hard hitting, broken noses, shoulders, some cheap shots (looking at Hines Ward) and general rough housing. You know what we've never seen?

Refs having to form a barrier between both teams in pregame warmups.

Players getting into it with the visiting teams coaches.

Players harassing refs and putting their hands on them.

Players head hunting opposing players to injure them.

Fans throwing garbage at opposing players being carted off the field.

Players exagerating their celebrations to such a degree that they run off the field into the tunnel and dissappear along with fellow players.

The Steelers are the Steelers. They're aggressive. But what we saw from the Bungles tonight was unbridled bafoonery. Their coach should be ashamed of losing control so wantonly.

My top 3 hated teams in order- New England (32), Cincinatti (31), Pittsburgh (30). I've grown to respect the Steelers and like a lot of their players.

So what exactly does Marvin Lewis have hanging over the Brown family? Having NEVER won a single playoff game and how the Bengals lost last night, there eventually has to be a breaking point. Don't know what bothered me more. The way Lewis handled the press conference or Deon standing up for the heading hunting call on Burfict saying it was a clean hit and he was trying to pull up to avoid Brown.

Money. Brown is notoriously cheap and unwilling to buy out a HC's contract.

I was rooting for the Bengals 'cause I hate the Squeelers. But they threw the game away. Are all NFL players undisciplined or just plain stupid? Late, unnecessary, stupid penalties. We've seen the same antics from Raven players. I realize it's an emotional game, but I was uner the misunderstanding that it was also a thinking man's game. Not so much.

Why was there not a penalty when Porter was getting into the Bengals faces on the field??? Regardless only the Bengals can find a way to lose and be one and done....When players act out and the HC isn't in their faces only shows he has no control of the team...Let's go Bronc's....:)

Refs threw this game. Granted Burfects personal foul for hitting Antonio Brown but the call on Pac Man for shoving Joey Porter of Steelers was just wrong. No Steeler coach should be on field inciting that response.

Should have been two penalties on Joey Porter (Steelers Coach). 1 for entering the field of play. 1 for grabbing and shoving players. Zebras want to change their stripes to Yellow and Black.

I really hate it when penalties decide such big games, Burfects penalty was legit, it was a bang bang play, but the Pacman call was ridiculous...And the Pit coach only getting fined for pulling the Bengals player hair should have been ejected and not fined after the fact...Just a very odd game....
