I just got in and still a little well you know. But I to prefer Floyd and ngakoue to ogbah and shaq. I would switch Fuller and Doctson. Interesting you have Coleman above Boyd. I like Coleman so far. But it is like you wanna keep watching the dude to find his flaw aside from size and Baylor that is. But so far so good. So many Receivers win at the catchpoint these days that route speed and suddenness and or savvy is just adequate enough to win. But Coleman is fast shifty sudden and savvy and for 5'10 wins at the catchpoint when needed. Not getting enough love in my opinion. BTW all needs are equal. But Oline and receiver is a shorter route to greatness for the offense and team in my opinion.

I think Buckner should be on this list. Furthermore, I don't like Shaq at all. He's like another Upshaw to me. I have Ngakoue better than him. I also like Floyd better than him and I also like Jones, his partner, better. I want to like Ogbah more but the closer I watch him, the more concerned I become. I am also not a big fan of most BIG 12 defenders.

I like Shaq a lot. He's got more stregnth and power than quickness but he doesn't lack it at all. He has a better motor than Upshaw ever did. I think he's a great fit in a 3-4 base hybrid. He's a good power rusher with good quickness and speed(not great. Whereas Upshaw's is terrible), who's got a hell of a motor. He actually has pass rushing moves(unlike Upshaw), and appears to be a high IQ football player and does not get fooled by much. He sets the edge well. I don't think he'll ever be a full time 3-4 OLB, but I think he's a good eventual understudy to Suggs. He's a trade back candidate for me.

Not really a bog board as so mich as a positional ranking but okay

Only comment is jack over smith. Reconstructive knee injury (multiple ligaments) is a big knock

I like Shaq a lot too, I think he looks more like Tamba Hali than Upshaw. I don't really see the upshaw comparison Lawson seems to be way more athletic has more burst and better pass rush moves than upshaw.

His [shaq] first step.

His [shaq] first step.

Yeah his first step is kinda inconsistent, but not terrible I think it's something that could be worked on once he gets to the NFL.

Call me crazy, but ngakoue and Floyd >>>> Shaq and ogbah. That's just me though

I like Ngakoue and Floyd for our system more (Shaqs fit is definitely a 4-3), but Ogbah is clearly the second pass rusher in my eyes after Bosa.

same here. I could definitely see Ozzie going after yannick or Floyd . May have to make a move back into the back end of the first to get one of them though , but we will see how the board shakes out.

ogbah has some real issues, he is so stiff and plays standing straight up, and he is a pure bull rusher.. Upright bull rushers don't work in the NFL. There's a lot to like there and definitely a high ceiling but he needs a lot of work. I like him in the 20s

yeah I've soured on him big time. I'd stay away from him unless by some strange chance he fell into the second. Edited by January J

No sarcasm, but has anyone ever improved their first step? Do you have anyone you can give me that actually ever improved a slow first step from college to NFL?

I may be called crazy but Ngakoue is second behind Bosa for me as an OLB pass rusher. If we are including DT, then he probably drops. I actually like the idea of drafting Alabama DL Jonathan Allen as a potential convert from DL to OLB. I think he is athletic enough to translate well to the position. Buckner is definitely high on my list as well, but he still needs work in rushing the passer & plays upright but the tools are there.

Anyway, I just don't have Ogbah as high as I once did. I watched him and then I saw things I disliked. It's like the more I watched the less I fell out of love. I never liked Shaq much from day 1, though. I don't see the hype.

I'm with you.  First step is usually a natural, instinctual thing.  I think guys can learn to time the snap better but I don't see a true first step being improved.

Yeah. I've seen guys improve their timing of the snap, but when you rely on that you tend to bite on some fakes and that's never good at all. That's when you get Dumervil jumping off sides or something.

I also like what I have been seeing out of Allen. If he somehow dropped to our second rounder, I'd like to nab him there.

Thats a tough one, I'd probably have to go back and dig to really find some instances on that, the first that comes to mind is Jabaal Sheard IIRC one of his concerns was a slow first step coming out of college.

not crazy im right there with ya except I like Floyd a bit better, much more athletic but all of his weaknesses are weaknesses for ngakoue too, namely getting overwhelmed in the run game, everything else I think is similar between the 2 except Floyd is slightly less refined as a rusher but much more explosive and athletic. And yeah Allen in the 2nd wouldn't bother me but I would need to see some sign that he can slim down, I'll reserve that judgement for after the combine

I think he can lose weight. Even if he doesn't I still like him a lot. His ability to use his hands and his quickness and first step are really good qualities. I've seen him play 4-3 DE and I've also watched him do well there. I think that's his future position and he's 6-3, which I find as an ideal height for an OLB.

I keep forgetting about him and he's certainly up there for me. He's a great pass rusher. I don't know where he'll end up on draft day but I'd certainly look at him. I do like Ngakoue slightly better at this time. I also like his clean history although that doesn't mean much considering he's been fine all year.

I certainly like him better than Shaq Lawson.
