[News] Breshad Perriman Expected To Be Ready For Offseason

49 posts in this topic

Based on all the reports we initially received, he was expected back before the 2015 season started.  SMH!

"They expect him to be fully recovered and ready to start this offseason" per Ozzie regarding Perriman. Does this mean that Perriman is still currently in recovery mode? I really hope Perriman can put this injury behind him soon and be ready to create havoc and burn right by defenders next year.

Who is this perriman this article speak of. Is he like Bigfoot something that is only rumored to be seen? Really can't wait to see if he is the real WR that we need and he can be. I hope so for his sake and ours.

Just an idea... what about stopping giving any timetable for him altogether? Seems like whenever there is one, it's bound to be proven wrong by life...

please just wrap him in bubble wrap until the first game of next year. At least lets get a couple plays before our own guys reinjure him.

Will people let that go already?  You can't read about an injury update on this site anymore without people saying, "these are the same people who said Perriman would only be out a couple days......"  Doctors misdiagnose injuries before doing tests sometimes. It happens. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't trust anything they say, ever.

we still need another reciever. Perriman on the outside, Kamar on the other ,Smitty in the slot, and maybe one more burner. We need more speed and recievers who can get of the line fast.

I was really excited when we picked him up in the draft last year.

So much so that I bet big on the Ravens to win Superbowl #50....

Oh well. Lesson learned! I can't wait to see Breshad tearing it up next year!

Please, please, please,...learn how to fall. Seriously, we need a stunt man in training camp to help these guys control their falls. I'm sure you will be a beast, just take care of yourself.

Perriman expected to be ready for the off season. What off season year? And what about in season? Seriously though, that question has to be answered before the draft.

I really hope he will be back for next season because the 2 biggest questions about Perriman are can he play? and is he durable enough to play in the NFL? I am not betting against him or trying to be negative but you all know some of the hits these guys take are crushing and it is even more hard-core when it's the Ravens vs the Steelers.

...what a BIG disappointment he turned out to be! Nobody cares about him now. Maybe next season when "we're in the hunt!" I suspect he'll hurt his knee again during the regular season and be done for the season. Like Harbaugh said, "he's a slow healer."

Breshad Perriman coming back! I'll believe it when I see it,I looked into my crystal ball and what did I see, I saw that if he skips pre-season practice, he'll still be hurt without even stepping a foot onto the field and if he survives pre-season then he will turn out to be a DUD, He never wanted to be a Raven in the first place,Sorry but that's my opinion. I absolutely agree with you Mr Shiri2, maybe he wasn't satisfied with the money he was offered, he was soooo great in college he want to start at the top and work his way down the ladder rather than start at the bottom, once again, my opinion

NO we won't let it go. Perriman was damaged goods coming in they knew it we knew it. Sigh.

Perriman was not damaged goods. He had stayed healthy throughout his college career, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with him, physically. Check the facts before posting nonsense.

A lot of people care about him now. The only people that don't are the people that didn't realize that a PCL sprain isn't going to cause chronic issues or end his career. People get frustrated that it was misdiagnosed, he had a setback, and he took longer to heal than usual, so they give up hope and let their frustrations get in the way of thinking realistically. The reality is that a player can have one injury that was worse than initially expected without having chronic issues or being overly injury prone. When Harbaugh talked about him healing slowly, he was talking about this specific injury, not in general.

An update on his current status would have been nice. Is he lifting? Running? 100%? etc. If isn't ready by training camp 2016 from this injury I don't think he belongs in this league.

If Perriman plays, it is a bonus. For now, the Ravens front office has to operate under the presumption that they need a good complementary speed receiver to SSS and Kamar Aiken. If Perriman comes back healthy and plays up to his potential, then it will be awesome.

I'm still tryna have faith in him but breshad is making me think he soft or something. Idk how painful his injury is because I've never torn an acl, pcl or anything so I won't get on him to bad. I think he has alot of potential though, he could be a star #2 and slot I don't think he will ever be #1 though
