^ Peyton Manning after he lost to the Ravens in 2012. Dang Cam, I just started to feel bad for you. I know it hurts, but you need to be a man about it.

This game is why I would rather have a good offense/elite defense > elite offense/good defense. Man, I hope we get some pass rush in the offseason.

Whenever I thought about Manning after that 2012 season, that picture always stuck in my head. He came after the room was empty and spoke general to general. No matter how much I hated him for 2006, he was always a class act in winning and losing. I'm happy I finally got to live and see one of the GOATS whole careers in my life span.

That's what I meant by "hint" - official would be when transaction is announced.

True. But since he's apparently told the team it's pretty much as good as done.

He wasn't going to be a Seahawk next year either way so I guess no biggie.

Maybe Spence himself is a member. Like how Deontay Greenberry was posting in the draft forum last year. :P

Maybe he is, about the only explanation that makes any sense.

Lol, that got negged, too even if it's factually accurate.

Nah it's cause we are talking about a draft prospect in the Other NFL teams section and we all know the boards explode if that happens.

I gained a huge amount of respect for Peyton after I saw that picture and am happy he got his own great ending(although I think he should definitely retire here)

An awful Super Bowl with plenty of fumbles and poor play.

Cam Cam , why didn't you go after your own fumble? Wimp move in the Super Bowl.

Where are the Panthers baseball bats they used to bring into the field ? Lol .

I'm no Donkeys fan but I'm glad the Panthers lost . An arrogant bunch . Very arrogant ,

Kubiak and his coaches completely outcoached the Panthers staff .

Kubes was our biggest loss last year .

To think we were one dropped pass from beating the Broncos in their house this year .

Anyone see Talib slip and fall on NFL Network.... :229031_rofl:

I wish he broke his neck the way he tried to break that receivers neck. Such a dirty thug he doesn't belong on the field.

Anybody else feel really bad for cam? Hes got a right to be upset. He lost the super bowl, that is one of the hardest things to accept gracefully.

And being the qb, he will obviously catch the heat, but his o line almost single handedly gave away the game repeatedly. He took the beating of a lifetime and still stood tall in the pocket for 4 quarters and nobody on his team could give him a hand. I feel for him

To an extent, I do too. I just think he could've handled it better. As for his o-line, I agree. But then again, this Broncos defense has doing this all season to opposing lines. Shoot, look no further than week 1 against us. I think Flacco had like 27 passing yards in the first half.

In hindsight now im glad the broncos won, to see him have a ring in the history books wouldn't be great.

i still want cam to win a ring in the near future. i really hope he doesn't change. i feel its a good change for someone cocky like cam as a qb to win a ring in the history books. i don't take 'respect for the game' as serious as a lot of the older nlf fans do as longs as the person isn't breaking any rules and is having fun.

and about cam walking out on the press conference what do people expect him to do. "hey cam you just lost the biggest game of your life, how do you feel about that?" its funny now when he loses all the people who hate him come out of the woodwork.

Cam's a punk. So are most of the Panthers .I'm glad the baseball wheeling bat team lost . Arrogance galore.

arrogance is needed in a sport like football it makes it more interesting when they dance after touchdowns and act cocky. i bet of you didn't care when ray lewis would dance before every game.

when he threw that hissy fit in the endzone at the end i got a little annoyed, i just said "come on cam youve handled it well dont embarrass yourself now that its out of reach.." and he composed himself from there on out.

i think the fact that he is that upset is a great sign. if he acted like he didnt care then everybody would be saying "hes just a thug whos in it for the money, he doesnt care!", damned if ya do damned if ya dont. cam newton loves the game of football, its what he lives for, and its obvious, nobody will ever have to question whether or not he is motivated, he would probably do this for a 100k a year salary if he had to.

i just cant fathom why ANYONE in their right mind, can call a PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL PLAYER, a punk, or a thug, or a showboat, or classless, when they show that they love the game of football and want to win.

I never sensed any arrogance from Ray. Yeah he did his dance but he was nothing like the Panthers group.

I'm glad we have Joe who would never pull any of those antics. And has won a Super Bowl!

49 other QBs in his position before him. Josh Norman after him. None pouted like a 2 yr old and walked out.
