Mike Shanahan couldn't win anything without John Elway. Gary Kubiak couldn't win anything in Houston, but yet wins one with Manning. Kubiak is going to hate Manning retiring, his only Super Bowl victory if history repeats itself.

Manning wasn't the reason Kubiak won the SB.

So much for super cam and the "new era QB"  LMAO!!  Hope you ain't too mad Smitty.

Congrats Peyton, no matter the politics you have always been class. Thank You for your career. You are only second to the all time GOAT Johnny Unitas.

Dude, Cam was way better than Peyton today. Not that it was a very hard thing to do.

As long as Wade Phillips stays with Kubiak, he will have a strong defense that can keep other teams from winning games.

Dont be mad, Brady still has 4.

Not mad at that, in fact our game was closer and better. This game was one sided and a clown show by both offenses. I'd rather seattle had made it again.

Meaning he'll have one more shot to win it next year with Phillips. No way Phillips isn't named a head coach for 2017.

Nah. By the numbers they were about the same.

Elway still could throw a decent pass and the Denver D was not as good during Shanahans days as a Broncos HC. That being said, Kubiak did call an awful game and was way too conservative, imho. That's what plagued him in Houston. He was way more aggressive in Baltimore, but that's as an OC under John "go for it!" Harbaugh.

Where is Von Miller the architect of this victory? All Manning did was manage the game despite an INT and a fumble. So again where is the attention on Von Miller?

Phillips is 68, just a touch younger than Tom Coughlin.  It is a long grind for a guy that age.

Wait, did one of them just say they didn't think a defense could win a Super Bowl by themselves? Damn, no respect to the 2000 Ravens who won a Super Bowl all on their own.

Kubiak won with an elite defense. He'll be able to find another game managing QB.

Well, he's the MVP ... right? He got someone's attention.

And he's already proven himself as a classic great co-ordinator that makes a terrible HC.

Because one of the greatest players ever is retiring. It was the same with Ray Lewis/Flacco.

Highlight of the game was seeing Flacco walk without a limp.

Yes. He didn't seem all that happy to do that media gig though lol

Von Miller easily the MVP, have to wonder if Carolina benefited from a soft schedule this year. They were high scoring all year then boom a real defense faces them and only 10 points.

Gotta resign trevethan, Miller,Jackson amongst other defenders to make that happen

So what does that say?   Peyton was pretty bad, but really only made the one huge mistake. Sorry, but at 26 years old someone that got all the hype that cammy got should have done much better.  Again, sorry, but cammy ain't all that and probably will never be,
