That excuse doesn't work anymore, every player in the world knows you can't hit a receiver above the neck, hit him stomach or lower

Shoulder was going straight to Wheaton's chest - Wheaton was the one who dropped the helmet.

Now it may be a rule but it's ridiculous rule.

Two first downs are not going to cut it. They can not be happy in Cincy. 1990 was a long time since their last playoff win.

It's not looking good for Maclin. Ian Rapport reports he suffered a ACL injury and the Chiefs are hoping it's not torn.

100% agree with you.  It technically was a foul, but the defender was crouching down as much as possible while standing, and only hit Wheaton's head because Wheaton ducked down.  Not sure as a defender how you tackle unless you dive at the guy's knees, which in that situation would have ended Wheaton's season easily there, but also isn't a sure tackle for the defender.

No win situation defending that.

I think the Steelers offense will get rocked by Denver.

Yep. With Houston and Cincy out Pittsburgh would undoubtedly be the worst team left in the AFC.

That is a real shame. When he started crying (not because he was in bad pain) I knew he knew it was torn.

Everyone see Mallett's tweet?

@RMaIIett7: Well, @HoustonTexans this is what happens when you get rid of your best QB. Oh well. I've moved on. Baltimore is a great organization.

Fake account

I figured he was probably rooting against them but I can't imagine he would have posted any comments about it.

Ugh, yes I deleted my post just as you responded lol.  Still kinda true I suppose, even though they had every reason to fire him.

Everybody's been thinking it anyway.

They have an entire thread about it on the Texans forum.  Man, I would be so embarrassed to support that team right now.  Thought the Steelers were going to do that to us last year when we snuck in.

Wow they are pretty pessimistic

The last time they won a playoff game was with Boomer Esiason beating a Warren Moon-less Houston Oilers, before they got bundled out themselves by the LA Raiders.

They're finally good again and they've gone one and done four years in a row and they're looking at extending that run to five. I can't imagine how depressing it must be for them (albeit how funny it is for the rest of us).
