Big Jens Concussion

With Ben playing with a concussion against SD, do you think that either a.) He will play bad and the squeelers lose or b.) He will get hit really hard and either this happens at end of the game and pitt wins anyway or this happens early to mid in the game and pitt loses. Your thoughts?

No one will know until he gets hit hard the first time. Concussions have a bad way of coming back with worse symptoms.

Well, the best-case scenario is that the Steelers lose but Pig Pen continues to get roughed up in the pocket and take open shots as the Steelers win due to their defense. If that happens, we should be able to beat them in the AFC championship game.

Sound like a lot of wishful thinking against him here. But Big Ben is tough. Concussions usually affect the mental stability during the game. I don't doubt Rothlisberger will shake it off and have a good game. That's what he does.

yeah, unfortunately that's true but if we can *technically* beat them earlier in the season in their stadium, i think we can do it again with a vastly improved unit.

I don't think the concussion will affect hime but from what I saw and am seing with the Giants this weekend, the bye week might make them a bit rusty like the other home teams.
