I could live with this.   I love the Ngakoue pick...

He's definitely my favorite of the fourth round picks.

The only way I could ever see us passing on Jack for Buckner is if we're one of the teams that flagged his knee.

I wonder if we might be a little over cautious because of Perriman.  Imagine the disappointment of having your first round pick two years in a row miss time.

I would see him going to Jacksonville at 5

I get that.  I would understand if that's the case.  Impossible to tell at this point so I find it kind of silly to only have him falling to 7 if it's the large of a concern.

I'm also not a fan of Dane Brugler, for what it's worth.

So against Henry lol He runs so high and rarely drops his shoulder.

Agreed.  I hated that mock draft.  Obviously I stated im not a fan of Bosa, but I can easily live with that pick.  But Henry, just no.  I wonder if he could get taken at the end of round 1.  Ill be scared if he is still on the board for our 2nd pick.

Schrager (I think, at least) did a mock on what he was hearing and has Henry to us at 2. I surely hope not, but I know @allblackraven will be happy.

We are stacked at RB and I don't see anyone in this draft worth taking.  Im just hoping for Perine next year

Oh man, If I hear the name read on Friday...

The only 1-2 combo I'd like more than Bosa/DH would be some trade down and up to end up with Stanley, Spence and Henry. God knows we've got picks to make that happen.

We are far from stacked. We have 6 RBs on the roster at the moment but Forsett is 30, West and Taliaferro did not show much to be excited about, Buck Allen can be good but we'll see and Magee is likely just a camp body. Then, there's Trent Richardson.

I meant stacked as in a surplus rather than talent.  Forsett and Allen will do most of the work then we have the rest of the guys, I just don't believe some random late round pick will do more than what we have on our roster.  DH doesn't excite me at all, but id be interested in your opinion on him.  I know your the Bama guy and I haven't really seen your thoughts on him.

We have Trent Richardson who is basically Derrick Henry. Next.

That's exactly what most people do - don't look at a player, look at where he's coming from. Nobody watches his play and everybody operates in myths and preconceived "opinions".

For example - "he is running too upright". Dude is 6'3", of course he'll appear taller then every other back but if you pay attention, you'll see he runs with natural forward lean.

"Everybody can run through holes Alabama O line makes" - look at the holes Forsett had in '14. Or better yet, Zeke last year.

"He is not good at catching passes" - show me the ones he dropped. Then look at the combine drills and Bama pro day clips when Henry worked with QBs due to lack of WRs present. He runs better routes than pretty much all TEs and good number of wideouts in this class.

You whiff on a tackle, he's gone. Not for 1st down but all the way. And he'll get faster - he shed 20 lbs off his '15 playing weight because he knows what's coming. He's a real pro already

I'm just saying they play similarly... Asking Henry to drop to 220 is EXACTLY what we told Richardson to sign with us. Richardson is down from around 240 to 217ish now because the Ravens told him to get signed he needs his weight down. Both play the same type of game. There is no reason to have a copy of Richardson when we already have him and he did not cost us a draft pick and he is playing on a contract that pays pennies compared to what Henry will get on a 2nd round rookie contract. We have Taliaferro and Richardson who play almost exactly like Henry.

I think they're also similar in workload.  Richardson carried the ball a LOT at a young age, played through minor-but-nagging injuries, and was never quite the same again.  And then when you look at Henry's stats for his final college year...    I'd say Richardson is a warning for anyone who gets excited over Henry.

I don't even not like Henry. I do, but gave him a late 3rd round grade. There wasn't enough lateral ability to me to take him any higher, although I'd be surprised if he made it out of the 2nd.

Yeah the lateral agility and that it takes him too long to get going. Watch Gurley hit a hole and Henry hit a hole. How fast they get up to speed is night and day. When Henry gets going he is really good and he can wear guys down, especially with good blocking but he needs good blocking as I don't see him being too effective if holes are clogged.

I could be OK with a later round pick,  but definitely not the second.

Ramsey then Dodd would cause me to go buy a cigar and I've never smoked in my whole life and have no plans to ever do such. But damn that would be something.

I haven't seen this until now, I just posted a mock with us taking him in the 4th.  I feel special now.  Even if it was with our 1st 4th
