The Mock Draft thread...not mine, not yours

123 posts in this topic

I know everyone loves to do mocks and most of us like reading them, i know i do.  So i figured a thread with just mock drafts would be nice,  Just post a link of a mock draft that you have found to be a good read, follow the forum rules and say what you think about it.  Also, if you have an opinion of the author of the mock feel free to put that in, i've noticed how some members know a good amount about some sports writers and sometimes it can put things into context.

This mock has us taking Ramsey.  I used to be in love with the idea but not so much anymore.  Found it interesting that Ogbah isnt even in the first round here....

It's not a bad idea, but I don't see how this will work. This is a discussion forum, after all. Why link to something we can't discuss? In fact, your comment made me want to immediately ask why you think Ogbah got skipped.

Haha, i guess this already has failed.  I just wanted an easy index for mock drafts.  Some people may have their go to sites that ive never heard of, etc....I guess it could just be an overall mock thread with discussions? idk....

Good idea for a thread but it needs discussion, unfortunately the highjacking is inevitable if we do that.

allright, then ill change the original post, discuss away lol

My heart will break if Bosa is taken at 5, especially since they took Fowler last year.

I really like what Jacksonville is building there, if they took Bosa that would be huge, then secondary

Yeah man him and Fowler would be terrifying.

I'd hate to face the Jaguars, that's for sure. Pretty sure we play them next year since the Titans finished at the bottom of their dumpster division & the Browns finished at the bottom of ours. That means that the Jaguars finished 3rd along with us.

Yeah, chuck Bosa at LE and Fowler at RE and that's a legitimately good front.

Yeah, they're on the come-up. I could care less what PFF says Blake Bortles has improved a lot from this year compared to last year. It's sad we lost our rivalry with them.

Not to mention Bosa is a fit for the defense, not insinuating that he can't fit into a 3-4 but a 4-3 would best suit him.

me neither but hey stranger things have happened. How awesome would that be? Couldn't submit the pick fast enough. Roger wouldn't even have to leave the podium after the pick before us..

2 instant starters and possibly game changers for the next 4 years on the cheap... Hell yea. But even fuller has had some mentioning. Anyone have a good write up on him?

Daniel Jeremiah released his first top 50. I always like his stuff and he's a former Ravens scout. A few interesting notes:

- Bosa is no. 4 overall

- Stanley is 15

- Carson Wentz is his top QB, 7 overall

- DB rankings go Ramsey (2), VH3 (11), Apple (14), Alexander (19)

- Kyler Fackrell (OLB out of Utah State) is 28. He's an underrated guy I liked, but didn't think expect him to be this high.

He also came out with a mock and had us taking Ramsey.

Jeremiah knows this team so he's probably right on the money if he says Ramsey. I think he makes a lot of sense. I need to look at Fackrell. Haven't watched him. Edited by GrimCoconut

He has gotten a lot of our picks correct. Also should note that he sees Ramsey as more of a safety. Edited by ravefan52

Yeah, he called the Elam pick. He said we'd take Lewan but we went with Mosley, although Lewan was off the board before we selected. I think he got our pick wrong last year, but I think the player he projected to us was off the board. I think it was Melvin Gordon?

Interesting to have Elliot at 6. I dont see that at all.

I think that is a bit high as well although I don't think he is saying he would take him with the 6th overall pick with how RB has been devalued.

Yeah talent wise I'd probably have him in the later teens although I haven't really got a big board put together yet.

He's got Mack, Smith, and Apple going higher than I usually see them listed.  Do we think he's right on these three?  Looks like they all could be in play for us at 6.
