Who should we take at #6?

I really really like Leonard Floyds tape. Yes he needs to gain some muscle but not much and he already has good size lower body. Dude has all the pass rush moves and just domes like a freak athletically. Plus I think we can trade down and still get him.

i do like his speed, something our d desperately needs.

Now that I think about it I could definitely see oz throwing a curve ball and taking Henry or Elliot in the second. If so I see us still keeping forsett but dropping tali and west.

I'm warming up on Treadwell at 6 depending on who's left at that point, my biggest question with Treadwell and it might sound weird but how's his personality?

I know it sounds crazy but it seems like Joe always had the best connections with the guys that had that "receiver attitude" I mean the instant chemistry with SSS, Derrick mason and Pitta always had that outgoing type of receiver personality and Joe always did well with them, even Boldin while he was more quiet to the media was said to be a really strong locker room voice, joe never really had great chemistry with Torrey it seemed who never really had that attitude, I've always thought Joe would be really good with guys like OBJ and B Marshall or even Dez Bryant, so if Treadwell has that big personality I'd consider that a plus.

If he selects Henry in round 2 he's insane. He has no lateral agility basically Trent 2.0.

I'd be surprised if Ezekiel Elliott fell to the 2nd, but, of course, stranger things have happened.

Treadwell had a pretty pedestrian game vs LSU & MSST, then surprised the opponent @bowl game.

Not sure what the make of him. I have a feeling Treadwell stock will bounce up and down. He was written off as a 10-15 pick a month ago.

After bowl game, folks are saying he is top 5.

Now after one game, Hargreaves is a mid 1st rounder(crazy!)

You mean "diva" attitude? Lol. Tread plays like a Raven, and that's all that matters to me.

he is one of the most explosive pass rushers ive ever seen, but it definitely comes at a price, he can generate some push when he gets a favorable start and he can take his man on comfortably and convert speed to power, but when he gets caught up on someone elses terms he easily gets washed out of the play, that is my biggest concern..

however, i think we have enough big boys up front and we desperately need some explosion, floyd would bring that instantly and it would be very difficult for offenses to stop our front seven if we were able to add just one explosive edge rusher. also, he has a skill set like what we saw with mcphee last season, explosive and nimble on his feet with good rushing moves, he would blow mcphee out of the water in that key blitzer role i believe.

i like him as a trade back target for sure.

Hargreeves, Ramsey, Tunsil, Staley, Bosa (not in that order obv)

I agree with VH3, Tunsel, Stanley, and Bosa, AND if we had a different DC I'd agree with Ramsey, but he isn't a fit in this system.  I'd love him in a hybrid role, ie Tyrann Mathieu and I've said this before.

I'd definitely be extremely happy with your other four, then Tread would be my 5th choice, even at 6.  Of course, I could change my mind by the draft.

Didn't realize Treadwell has risen so much on people's boards, wow. He won't get enough separation to command double teams in the NFL, which hurts him in my eyes.

I would still take VH3, Ramsey, and Ogbah over him, and obviously a couple more not listed.

Look at guys like Dez Bryant and prime Anquan Boldin, they really don't need a lot of separation.. it's about their catch radius, strong hands, physicality, good routes, ect. I think people see a lot of those same traits in Treadwell.

Tread like Boldin and Fitz gets late separation. And is kinda sudden in his breaks. He is shifty after the catch. Ogbah is a scrub.

Totally agree.

I like him a lot, but not enough to take him in the top 10.

I think Floyd is also getting more attention than he deserves, if I were to take a speedy guy and have him playing 5/6/7t I would go with Striker in the early 4th, not with the Georgia guy (especially not in the first round).

Neither of them can bullrush nor have a decent set of pass-rushing moves, and while both simply try to beat the man off the los with speed (which is not the same of 'explosion'), possibly take 2-3 steps and cut inside, Striker has the lowest pad-level and is the better leaner.

Floyd is versatile, does look good in coverage, but not as good while rushing the passer nor in the running game to have me saying "ok, that's a first rounder".

Very telling that WR is tops on the list.

I would be very happy to see the Ravens land Treadwell. But there is that Cowboy team ahead of the Ravens in the draft and they always seem to have the same players on their mind.

or as a trade back into the late first target if somehow he started to fall.

Oh look the board has fallen in love with a WR pre-draft. Never see that here....

it's about WHERE we are picking and getting the most bang for our

buck. Obviously a lot can change between now and april- but right now the way the board is looking Treadwell makes a lot of sense. Not a very deep wr class as opposed to the

cb and edge rusher class. It's not just about wanting a receiver bc it's the sexy pick..it's about value. And if we can trade back and still get him..is that not the smartest move if bosa and Tunsil are gone? Plus imagine tread paired with perriman, Steve and aiken.. psh forget about it.

joe has always liked them big bodied receivers that don't even necessarily have to have a lot of seperation.

one that he can just throw the ball up to in traffic and dude will fight for the ball and come down with it regardless. You remember what happened the last time Joe had a speedster to stretch the feild and a big body receiver right?

One more thing...could people try to refrain from writing "Staley"? It's Stanley. Just has been urking me a bit.

Andrew, I think the Ravens D upgraded to Xfinity from cable by the end of the year.  Not that thats saying much.

Hi, I'm the 2000 Ravens defense and I have DirecTV

And I'm the 2015 Ravens defense and I have cable (now Xfinity)

they're way off on some guys, and their mocks look ridiculous until the draft comes and then they're not that far off lol.they were like the only outlet that had us taking perriman, and they guessed that for a good2months and didn't change

i kinda like drafttek better. Theyre rankings are more spot on and they had us picking perriman a lot last year too lol

Fyi. Mackensie alexander is gonna shut down calvin Ridley and very well may help pull off the win in the national championship vs alabama, if they do i feel alexander is gonna have a big impcact. He might hace called it.

I really hope Drafttek's latest mock is how things shake out and we get Bosa at 6, but I'd be staggered if Dallas took Goff at 4 and the Chargers took VH3 at 3.

I looked at it today and thought the same thing. I think it's possible. I recall someone posting a rumor about teams not seeing Bosa as a top pick or something not long ago. It could happen. Star Lotulelei was considered a terrific prospect and he fell hard. He was widely viewed as the top prospect all year and then dropped hard on draft day.

Yeah, Charlie Campbell was saying a while ago that scouts see him more as a top 5-7 guy as opposed to the clear #1 the public sees him as.

Bosa falling to us is optimistic but not out of the question at all - what I was more surprised about was where VH3 and Goff got picked.

I agree 100% that Treadwell would be an awesome compliment to Perriman. I just think I'd rather trade down to like 10 or the early teens if that's the target.

Joe often chucks deep jump balls when he gets blitzed instead of throwing it away (that's why I wanted Jaelen Strong last draft). Treadwell would be perfect for that.

They did actually hold a lead so I will give them that. I need to come up with something new though, this one has gotten stale

He had some heart problem or whatever come out which I think played a large part in his fall. Still, Leonard Williams

This rumor is on Walterfootball.
