Who should we take at #6?

Many people are talking about a QB needy team such as he Eagles, Rams wanting to trade in front of the Niners or even the niners stopping a team from trading up and trading with us themselves.  That may just very well happen, but lets not forget that the Dolphins may want to trade up with us to make sure they are able to solidify there secondary or even Myles Jack if he is available.

It's interesting how these trade down scenarios are starting to emerge.  Actually, it's not surprising at all.

I think the only DB that Dolphins would trade up for is Ramsey. Sitting where they are they're likely to have their pick of Alexander or VH3. However, I could see them trading up for Jack.

Well, you just named 6 players and we pick at 6, so I think one will be. Lol. I'd rather not take Treadwell at #6, though.

We are in such great position this year.

Ramsey, Jack, Treadwell, Spence, Bosa, Buckner - Hopefully one will be

If Ramsey is there no doubt we take him.

I wouldn't mind Stanley. It's not the flashy playmaker that I'd really like, but Ozzie pointed it out as a position they need to address, correct? Stanley brings the highest potential of an left tackle in the draft and could easily be a top 5 LT in a few years. In that sense, he'd be well worth it.

Plus, with Joe Flacco having a reconstructed knee, do you really want James Hurst protecting him if Monroe goes down? Please, remember Hurst turned in two games of -10 or lower at PFF, which is absurdly unheard of.

Not advocating for Stanley, but you all make it sound as if he's a bad player.

Yeah, talent wise, I don't see much difference between Tunsil and him. If anything, Stanley might be more polished in pass pro already.

I'd prefer Hargreaves to Alexander but I agree, the most likely trade up would be Ramsey or Jack.

I see Bosa falling. And Jacksonville picking him up. Dallas picking up Jack. Leaving us with Ramsey at pick 6. Who will have a lot of pick 6's in his career lol

You’re making the assumption that the Browns will pick a QB. But, they’re trying to make a push for Kaepernik so if they do, Tunsil, Bosa, Jack, Ramsey and Buckner will be off the board. We’ll be left to pick from Stanley, Noah, Treadwell, Elliott and VH3 or perhaps Mackenzie Alexander.

Probably Spence or Stanley in that case.

BUT..... you're suggesting SF wouldn't have a QB for next year, and Wentz would be available to us, one pick ahead of the 49ers?  Pretty sure someone trades up at that point.

It is coming. Will probably post an updated one Tuesday for you all to sink your teeth into. Just want to wait until the combine is over.

No GM in there right mind will take Kaepernick unless he is a free agent. He isn't worth the money. I guarantee you the GM will be fired when they come in last place in the division again.

Lol. Even if the Browns trade for CK that doesn't exclude them from taking a QB. Furthermore who's to say the Browns don't trade their pick to SF for Kaepernick, their first, and a draft pick or two? So much can easily change.

Buckner or jack will be our pick, no bouta doubt it. If they are gone we will attempt to trade back for Spence,  but if no one bites we may be forced to take stanley..butttt  that's only if KO doesnt take the offer..if he does then I think we'd just go ahead and grab Spence @ 6. Alot of moving parts.

I'm really starting to feel Bosa sliding to us, I feel like he's falling behind Jack, Ramsey and Buckner and with Tunsil and a QB taken, I see how he could fall to us now. He just seems like the less sexy pick as time goes by.

Hope Buckner falls to us

You know I didn’t like him that much at the combine… doesn’t look very explosive.

Ronnie Stanley is the safest pick if we stay at #6. With a pick this high we really should take an impact player like Bosa or Ramsey or even Buckner would be a great pick at #6. Ozzie never reaches though and he is hands down the best GM in the league. If Bosa and Ramsey are gone at 6 I wouldn't be surprised or upset if we moved back and took Mackensie Alexander and got another mid round pick. The more mid round picks we have the better chance we have of finding the next Pernell Mcphee, Brandon Williams, or Dennis Pitta!

What? Why? Care to explain the emphatic statement?

Had a really shaky interview. A lot of GMs say they don't think they can trust him. His performance today wasn't anything special, in fact slow and not impressive for a player 6'2" who can't play run defense is only a go after the QB pass rusher. A lot of GMs have now taken him off the board. Which I'm happy about hopefully we get him in the 4th. Along with Jalyon Smith. JS's knee is "really bad" and GMs have already said they took him off there boards until further medical exams leading up to the draft.

Your nuts. He could completely bomb his interviews and still get picked up by somebody in the 2nd at the absolute latest. My guess is still  top 20.

You dont go from borderline top 10 to the 4th/5th round unless you are injured and even then if you are a top 10 prospect someone will take you late 3rd early 4th even if you are going to miss your entire rookie year.   Its almost impossible for anyone to fall that far after the college season ends no matter what happens in the combine and interviews.
