A year isn't that long. He's probably scratching the walls. He has no money for his addiction so he is going to the NFL. To get big money in order to get more drugs. He will have the money. Then he will run out of the money.  He loves the X and the D.

Originally I had Ogbah as our pick (because of a strange dream I had), but now it's Stanley (gut feeling......for now). However, if KO accepts the FO's offer, I'm switching to Noah Spence.

Ac ththoseing to Ozzie were down to two p icks that we most likely will pick that will be there at 6. He said this yesterday and today Osemele was offered a huge contract. If he takes the contract which I hope he does I have a feeling one of the picks was Stanley, so that would take him off the board. Leaving one! ... But which one is the mystery.

If i Was to guess id Say he was reffering To jack And spence. If hes Talking about 2 players and hes That confident they will be there, Those two really fit that bill. Buckner  maybe.

I'll have to agree. Last night I was watching a lot of Noah Spence highlight videos and I always thought he was good but now I'm really liking him. He is like Von Miller. With Suggs and Dumervil getting old. I would be happy with Spence in the first. I hope we can trade down a few spots and get a couple picks and still get him.

We are in such great position this year.

Ramsey, Jack, Treadwell, Spence, Bosa, Buckner - Hopefully one will be ours!

Well, you just named 6 players and we pick at 6, so I think one will be. Lol. I'd rather not take Treadwell at #6, though.

Now that it's been reported that K.O is looking for 10M+ per year for a deal, I am near certain he won't be a Baltimore Raven. Now the question becomes who do we really take at #6. I don't think we can afford to go defense if K.O is gone. My bet is now fully on Ronnie Stanley being our #6 pick unless of course he's taken by the Chargers at #3. Seriously K.O 10M? After playing 4 games at LT and that too because of the opportunity the Ravens gave you? Terrible.

If he gets a deal like that... I would assume he'd get us a decent comp pick at least (very discouraging that he's looking for so much thou)

Do not want Stanley or anyone else @ 6!

I've really come around on Treadwell. Used to hate the idea but I've completely flipped. Watched more of him and think he would fit perfect here. Allow Smith to work the slot when (hopefully) Perriman comes back. Aiken as our #4 would be awesome.

I don't see a major flaw in his game. High ceiling, perfect WR for Joe to hopefully play the rest of his career with.

If we take Stanley we are picking top 15 or more likely top 10 next year.

I doubt any team is going to view him (or pay him) as a LT based on 4 games. Our coaches have worked with him for 4 years and are confident he can do it. It would be insane for a team to pay him 10M as a G. I think he tests free agency and re signs here.

Lol. I almost guarantee ko returns as a Raven. 10 mil per year is not a good way to judge what a contract is worth and you also have to understand 10 mil average even 2 years ago is nothing due too how quickly the cap and thus perspective on these contracts should be. Look at the guarantees.

Well, he didn't run his 40 and make little of it if you want but that brings up character concerns for me. It makes me wonder if he wants to compete.

I have a feeling if Ogbah has a mediocre combine then he might slip into the second round which might create some interesting combinations for us

I don't think too many teams rank him as first rounder at the moment, tbh.

I was surprised when a lot of people on here started slotting him to us at 6. Seems like a lot of people when they watch film the first time only focus on the positives. The second or third time they only focus on the negatives

Yeah - that might be due to the fact that most people first always see highlights before the game films become available

I see it this way if we take Stanley at 6, we cut Monore, but we still have a need at guard. So how does drafting Stanley help us? We're in the same situation the team won't be much better. Or we keep Monroe for one year and have Stanley play guard. All I know is that a LT wasn't the reason why we were 5-11. Im sure there will be better players available at 6

Or he knows his 40 time it isn't going to be what teams want so he's not going to risk falling

The draft experts are talking about Tunsil and Stanley as if they are both special , just that Tunsil is a level above

I think people are souring on Stanley as our pick just because he's not Tunsil.

If Tunsil turns out to be the next Jonathan Ogden, and we take Stanley and he turns out to be Joe Thomas, let's be honest we're still winning.

I would prefer the pick to be a more impactful position (pass rusher/ secondary) but if he is the highest rated player we have when we pick then I think we take him.

First two tapes of Ogbah I watched couple of months back, I was shocked of his lack of explosiveness, bending, moves, motor. He only displayed a decent punch but nothing more. I seriously wonder how PFF can consider him the second best pass-rusher in NCAA. I really don't know, maybe I just picked the 2 worst tapes available.
However, he was so disappointing I decided not to go further in order to save my poor eyes. The amount of hype he had received seems crazy and unjustified..
For the few I could see, he showed a decent base and no upside.. a sluggish DE worth a flier and nothing else.

Sounds like he would be a good fit for the Cleveland Browns.

When this thread started I was 100% on the Treadwell bandwagon, but after getting good intel on the defensive players (I don't watch much NCAA football) I've really come around on the Ramsey, Jack, Bosa, Buckner, and Spence picks. There are 5 guys there and before the ravens pick I expect 1 QB to be taken (Browns), and 1 OT (Tunsil). That leaves 2 of these 5 guys available in my opinion at worst.

Really looking forward to the draft.

Please, not Stanley. That would be such a waste when we have a history of making diamonds out of charcoal in the trenches.

That is true if we were talking about a guard, center, or even a right tackle, but when you are talking about a LT that is supposed to protect the blind side of your Franchise qb, then Stanley wouldn't be a wasted pick at all.  One of the best ones you could make and maybe solidify that position for 10 years or more.

Remember what happened this year with Flacco going down and for the most part the last couple years with Eugene Monroe going down.  If we have been making diamonds in the rough, then why did we trade for Monroe in the first place.

Many people are talking about a QB needy team such as he Eagles, Rams wanting to trade in front of the Niners or even the niners stopping a team from trading up and trading with us themselves.  That may just very well happen, but lets not forget that the Dolphins may want to trade up with us to make sure they are able to solidify there secondary or even Myles Jack if he is available.

It's interesting how these trade down scenarios are starting to emerge.  Actually, it's not surprising at all.
