RaineV1's first round mock

Figured I'd give one of these a shot.

Pick 1: Tennessee Titans - Joey Bosa, Edge, Ohio State

The Titans are a a pretty pitiful team overall, and need a playmaker in the worst possible way. Bosa will give them that. He also makes sense considering what division they're in, as they'll need to be able to pressure Luck and Bortles.

Pick 2: Cleveland Browns - Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis

The Browns sure love their boom or bust QBs, don't they? Also, I think this will be a case of monkey see, monkey do. The Steelers have won big games with their tall, athletic, strong armed QB. The Ravens have won big games with their tall, athletic, strong armed QB. And the Browns hope Lynch can be that guy for them.

Pick 3: San Diego Charger - Laremy Tunsil, LT, Ole Miss

This is a simple one. They badly need help on their o-line, and they want to be able to run the ball better. Plus, being in the same division as the Broncos means they have to improve at tackle.

Pick 4: Dallas Cowboys - Myles Jack, LB, UCLA

Despite losing Romo and Bryant, they could have still won the division if their defense was able to make the occasional big play. However, they couldn't, and that's why they'll be going defense in the first round.

Pick 5: Jacksonville Jaguars - Jalen Ramsey, DB, Florida State

The Jaguars' pass defense is pretty pedestrian. Fowler will help with their pass rush, and they'll take the most athletically gifted DB. Plus, they could really use Ramsey's fire.

Pick 6: Baltimore Ravens - Ronnie Stanley, LT, Notre Dame

As shown when Kubiak was around, the Ravens can do great things when they control the line of scrimmage. Also, better pass protection is really needed in Trestman's offense.

Pick 7: San Francisco 49ers - Jared Goff, QB, California

Kaep is a bust, and Gabbert is fairly average in their system. They won't get anywhere until they improve their QB play.

Pick 8: Miami Dolphins - Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida

This is simply a BPA pick, and he should help them to continue beating the Patriots.

Pick 9: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Deforest Buckner, DT, Oregon

The Bucs need to improve their front 7, and Buckner could be a big step in that process.

Pick 10: New York Giants - Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson

Their  pass rush is horrible, and they'll gladly take the best edge rusher available.

Pick 11: Chicago Bears - Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson

Pick 12: New Orleans Saints - Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State

Pick 13: Philadelphia Eagles - Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State

Pick 14: Oakland Raiders - Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State

Pick 15: St. Louis Rames - Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss

Pick 16: Detroit Lions - A'shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama

Pick 17: Atlanta Falcons - Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama

Pick 18: Indianapolis Colts - Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama

I was tempted to pick a WR for the Colts.

Pick 19: Buffalo Bills - Jaylon Smith, LB, Notre Dame

Pick 20: New York Jets - Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State

Pick 21: Houston Texans - Ezekiel Elliot, RB, Ohio State

Pick 22: Green Bay Packers - Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor

Pick 23: Minnesota Vikings - Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State

Pick 24: Cincinnati Bengals - Leanord Floyd, OLB, Georgia

Pick 25: Washington Redskins - Jonathan Bullard, DE, Florida

Pick 26: Seattle Seahawks - Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA

Pick 27: Pittsburgh Steelers - Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU

Pick 28: Denver Broncos - Cody Whitehair, OG, Kansas State

Pick 29: Carolina Panthers - Jayron Kearse, S, Clemson

Pick 30: Kansas City Chiefs - Robert Nkemdiche, DL, Ole Miss

I will add a special note for this one. Andy Reid has shown in the past that he'll give players a second chance if their talent is worth the risk. He needs some coaching up, but his interior passrush mixed with the Chiefs edge rushers will be too good to pass up.

Pick 31: Arizona Cardinals - Noah Spence, OLB, Kentucky

With being clean for awhile, and likely some good combine numbers Noah Spence will work his way back up a lot of teams' draft boards. Also, when you're picking last in the round, you might as well take a risk when you have the chance to pick a top 20 talent.

So you got the Cheifs going to the SB? Very interesting, I have to be honest, they're one of the teams I rooting for, them and Arizona.

Back to the draft, I'm fine with Ronnie Stanley and I've lightened up a bit more to Ramsey, though he will be a work in progress honestly. With that said, I would like Stanley a lot day 1.

lol  :) no! Deforest Buckner

Wait, crap. I did forget all about Buckner. I had him going in the top fifteen and then change that. I forget to add him again. I'll go fix that now.

Alright, I changed up the picks slightly because I forgot Buckner. Buckner to the TB now, Robinson to the Lions, and Conklin to the Jets.

The Chiefs right now seem to be the best all around team in the AFC, and I think they can beat anyone.

After seeing what the Dolphins did I'm very uncertain about the Patriots offensive line. It looks like its in Shambles right now.

It seems like every team the Chiefs would face to the Super Bowl has an offense that's falling apart. The Steelers offense is very beatable if you get pressure. The Bronco's love to give the ball back to the other team. And the the Patriots have issues protecting Brady, plus the Chiefs are very good at covering TEs. And their offense is just good enough to pick up around 20 points a game, which is enough to win.
