Pay him - YES. But the cap does put severe restrictions on the process. I for one thought we did the right thing letting Tory Smith walk rather than overpay a receiver who couldn't run routes and didn't fight for the ball (and who'd have known Perriman would be hurt in preseason). I was also skeptical of the relatively big contracts we gave Rice and Webb. It's real easy for fans to just say "pay up", but we don't have to balance the books.

I'm really a greedy guy. I want Tucker and KO back. I feel real good about Tucker; after all we can franchise him if necessary, but I hope it isn't. I don't feel too confident about KO, though. I'm afraid he just might be gone to somebody with bigger bucks than we've got to give. What a bummer! And on top of it, we might be stuck with Monroe, the made out of china guy.
