what would you offer

The browns decide to go with the homegrown Bosa ,

other than the browns nobody in the top 5 needs a QB,

that leaves us in perfect spot (thanks to S.F winning) at 6

let the trade offers start anybody before us will cost more,

          7. san francisco = need a QB

          8. Dolphins = rumors they may need a QB

          12. Saints = again rumors with brees and his cap hit

          13. Eagles = who knows

          15. Rams = need a QB

          20. jets = fitz is not the long term answer.

I think the Browns trade for a vet QB like brees,

also RG3 and Kap will find jobs but are not the long term answer  only a stop gap while the newly drafted QB get acclimated to or is a QB needy team that missed out,

I understand the point system for a trade but couldn't we get just as much from San Fran as the Saints.

Cowboys can use a QB. Romo going down has significantly hurt their chances lately. It's high to take a QB but it's certainly an important position that may be used earlier than expected and they could take time to learn the position.

Cowboys definitely in play for a QB, Romo is good to miss a couple games per year and currently they have no capable backup, not to mention Romo is getting up there in age where it's time to groom a replacement in Dallas.

I think cowboys do need to groom a QB, you usually draft them in the 2nd or 3rd round , when you draft a QB in the top 5 , that means they are ready to play , top 5 do not sit and wait.

can we get the same from the 7th pick(SF) and the saints

ie; saints offer 2 first round picks and a second, couldn't we tell SF we need 2 first and a second,

That's not necessarily true. Teams used to draft a QB high and let them sit and learn before throwing them into the fire. You only say this because of recent trends. The problem is trends change.

I think it could go either way. Not ruling out either possibility.

Yeah but the cowboys are ahead of us so does us no good as far as looking for a trade. Although it could help another player fall to us.

Another thing that could hurt us is if the browns and cowboys both go qb before us and lynch and Goff are gone, thus taking away our leverage/ trade bait. Unless another qb jumps to the top of the pack, but as if right now they are the only 2 that are really worthy of a top 15 pick.

The good news is if that happens, we get a top 4 player on our board at our pick. Might not want to trade down

Would love for the Eagles to give us some next year picks to move up, use some ammo to go after Fournette. Wishful thinking

I believe if both the top LT's and Bosa are off the board the Ravens would most defintly be interested in a trade down with anybody drafting 12th or lower without a doubt having to give up their 1st rd picks for 2017 with an additional pick in the 2016 draft. Absolutely no lower than a 3rd rd pick but preferably a 2nd. The 49ers I know are desperate for a QB but if Oz obtains 2 1sts and a 2nd from them I believe Oz might get thrown in jail for rape.

I think Stanley, Tunsil, Bosa, Buckner & Treadwell likely make up our top-5. I say this because Tunsil & Stanley are both really nice LT prospects, Bosa is a disruptive playmaker on the defense who is a very good prospect, Buckner is a disruptive force with the fastest first-step I've seen in this draft class, and Treadwell makes really nice catches & shows a wide catching radius & reminds me of a slightly faster Alshon Jeffrey. I used the comparison before to Bryant, but I think Jeffrey is a better comp.

We never have a shot at a top WR. It always seems to happen to us, but this could be the year we pull the trigger on it. We got a WR last year, who wasn't the top WR but a top one, and he is coming off an injury. While I love to think he will rebound, there's nothing wrong with having two top talents at WR. Worst case scenario, you have Treadwell & Steve Smith Sr & Perriman is a bust. Best case? You now field a WR corps of ridiculous talent in Treadwell, Perriman, Aiken & Smith Sr. That's not including our TEs.

hey way to funny and thank you

I was curious about the point system, so in essence we can get what ever we want or agree to.

do you really see Dallas going QB at 4, or where they draft.

Ive really liked Treadwell the couple times Ive seen him play and it seems like hands down he's the best wideout out there but I'm a little squirrely about picking him that high. You guys have been really pounding the pavement about Buckner and I need to check him out. Just cuz we consider that a position of strength doesn't nessassaily mean its gonna stay that way. Unfortunatly I don't get much of a chance to watch college ball or see film but since I'm on the road a lot I'm gonna get a constant barrage of draft talk for the next 3 months on NFL Radio listening to the likes of Gil Brant and Pat Kirwen that my head is gonna spin. I've also watched some of the conference championships and bowl games(which is why I'm not that high on Hargraves or Ramsey which may be shortsighted) since this is the most important draft for the Ravens in a long time. Really hated the blowouts on New Years day btw. What a letdown.

I don't think this draft is all that strong. Why not take a player who can actually help the offense? I think we may be closer to a great offense than people realize. We need to find a way to beat the Bengals. How do we lose to them? It seems to always come down to turnovers in my eyes. They seem to just get them against us, especially from the WR. If we have some better WR, perhaps that goes a long way to beating them. They have Eifert, Sanu, Jones & Green. We have not much to threaten them. Steve Smith Sr is here another year, then we have Aiken & Perriman and a bunch of other guys. I like those guys, but I would rather have Treadwell, Smith Sr, Perriman & Aiken & then a Butler & a Waller or whatever than relying on someone to bust out.

I think we need an elite offense to win football games.

Well they're only moving up one spot but you never know they could get desperate if we say well the Saints are offering us this..... There is a point system but I really find it hard to believe that GM's actually follow this. Dallas I don't think is gonna take a QB and just sit him for a couple years. You think Jerry got the patience for that lol

Wholeheartedly agree with you but we have to protect Joe 1st against the likes of Geno and Dunlop but we sure shouldn't be scared of taking Treadwell if Ozzie has him rated high enough. I just don't want to reach. That's how a bad team stays a bad team. I'm just so worried about the LT position.

I think this is one of the strongest LT drafts in recent memory. Tunsil, Stanley, Conklin, Dahl, Spriggs, Clark, Johnstone, and that guy Beavers are all guys with a lot of potential. I'm not a big fan of Drango for LT, but I do like these other guys quite a bit. I think we could land one of them in the 3rd or 4th round. My guy is Dahl.

that almost guarantees either Stanley or bosa lands In Baltimore though

yeah I guess its pretty much a win - win for us then. Man I am glad San Fran pulled out that game. The football gods finally cut us some slack

yeah don't know why I didn't think of that. Brain lapse. I'm so focused on hoarding picks I won't even paying attention to what's right under my nose. Oz must be rubbin off on me

I don't like the trade the draft mentality when it comes to any prospect, let alone a RB. That scenario would reek of the Saint's move for Ricky Williams. Williams was a very, very good player in college and the NFL, but he wasn't worth the sheer amount of picks the Saints gave up.
