These trades are exciting! I like seeing big names traded during free agency, eagles have flipped 3 players so far.

Wonder what compensation they got for maxwell/alonso & murray

Steelers resign Willie Gay. He seemed like the only capable CB they had last year. Would have been nice for them to lose him.

Not a good day for the Ravens.

ICYMI, we've reached a four-year deal with RT Joe Barksdale.

The #Chargers gave Joe Barksdale a 4-year deal worth $22.2M deal with $10.5M guaranteed, source said.

Might want to retain this information for the future.

Could be somewhat of a benchmark for a Rick Wagner deal in 2017.

It's a 6-year deal for the #Jaguars and DT Malik Jackson. He'll sign when the league year opens tomorrow.

If and when DL Malik Jackson does sign with Jacksonville, deal expected to come in at about $15 million per season, per source.

Wow, 15 mil per is a lot

That's a huge loss for Denver and a great addition for Jacksonville.

Sure it is, but the consistently bad teams keep over paying players in March but yet have no success and no wins to show by December and are routinely picking at the top of the draft after those moves. Packers, Patriots, Steelers and us have watched players be over paid and still win year in, year out. When will teams learn?

Oh goodness, KO gets $12M a year from the Raiders & Malik gets $15M a year from the Jaguars. Malik is a great player but $15M a year, way too much and over paid.

What else do you do with almost $80 million of cap space in their case? The Jaguars brought in Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns, T.J. Yeldon, Brandon Linder and Telvin Smith in recent drafts. Their arrow is trending up. Now they're the richest team in free agency and are bringing in a young DT who's been dominant over the past several season, which will cost them a fraction of their available space. I can't fathom a reason to criticize them for bringing in one of the best FAs available to complement their team. It's rather silly.

My point is more so of they keep over paying but have nothing to show for it when the season starts and they don't improve with the signings. While us and the other teams I mentioned are consistently contenders every year when we let guys go that people say would hurt us. Then those same people say what a difference that player will make, then nothing changes.

The #Giants are expected to keep Jason Pierre-Paul, source said. It's a 1-year deal. He turned down more money elsewhere.

Giants and JPP reach agreement on a 1-year deal, as @RapSheet reported. JPP's deal worth up to $10.5 million. Arizona made late push for him

Broncos cut Louis Vazquez.

Broncos current casualty list :

Starting TE - Daniels

Starting RG - Mathis

Starting LG - Vazquez

Both Qb's - Manning and Osweiler

DLine - Malik Jackson

hope they fall back down to obscurity.

Maybe he meant The Circus? I mean with Rob Ryan now on board, it's more of a circus than it was with just Rex. Kinda bummed, was hoping we could get a chance to sign him to replace KO.

How do they not improve with the signing of Jackson in particular? He's been one of the best players at his position over the course of at least 3 seasons. It's not like he's a one-year wonder. He's a relatively safe bet. Contenders build through the draft, which Jacksonville has done over the past two seasons, but when you're roster is initially void of talent, a turn around typically takes several seasons to accomplish. In the middle of that attempt, they're sitting on the largest sum of money in the league. What should they do at this point? Sit on it? Use it sparingly? So long as they account for the extensions that will soon follow their successful draftees and so long as they keep drafting relatively well, a team with an immense amount of cap space shouldn't be criticized for bringing in key additions. Look at what the likes of DeMarcus Ware, Aqib Talib, T.J. Ward did for Denver.
