The Dolphins have released WR Greg Jennings while restructuring Ndamukong Suh's contract. Thanks to the restructure, it will save them $15M in cap room but boy will his contract years down the line be bad. DE Mario Williams is visiting the Dolphins.

Calvin johnson reportedly interested in coming back if Lions cut him. His teams of interest are Patriots, Giants, Falcons, Cowboys.

Not sure why Steelers aren't one of them. They have a good wr, which seemed to be the trend and actually made the playoffs.

Did some research on incarcerated Bob and didn't seem too reliable, so I guess take it for what it's worth.

So that person claims, that Johnson basically bailed on his old team, so he can move on to a contender? Megatron is liar all of a sudden? That's BS.

All this is moot, because I don't see a reason for the Lions to cut him.

Trey Wingo just posted this on Twitter:

Filed to ESPN: Broncos ILB Brandon Marshall... Restricted FA will get a 2nd round tender. Teams will be interested... Like Miami

If I'm a team who needs a ILB, that might be very tempting to use a second round pick on Marshall. Denver can get one of the ILBs in the draft to replace him if needed.

If he retires, the cap hit clears. If the Lions then spend money and Johnson decides to come back, it would have big implications on their cap. One sceneries I read was Johnson retires, then Lions "release" him to alleviate the cap hit. He then unretires and sign with a team.

That was from a Boston beat writer on SN.

From a cap perspective, a cut and a retirement have the same effect. They have over $20M in cap space currently even with Calvin costing $24M against the cap, so they aren't in dire need of space. He's going to cost $11.1M in dead money regardless of whether he plays or doesn't.

Couldn't Detroit just trade Calvin Johnson and get something out of him?

Maybe. Implies that Calvin would want to play elsewhere, and that another team could handle his contract, which includes four years of salaries worth over $16M each year.

Not exactly a contract that Calvin would likely want to redo either.

It's happened.... RG3 has been released by the Redskins. They also cut veteran DE Jason Hatcher(Saves up to $6M if Post June 1st Cut), S Dashon Goldson(Saves them $8M) and S Jeron Johnson.

The Eagles are looking to unload Byron Maxwell and his over bloated contract that Chip Kelly gave him last year. The Dolphins are in talks with the Eagles to acquire Maxwell. In turn, the Dolphins plan on cutting Brent Grimes to make room for Maxwell.

Don't we normally hear "so and so has agreed in principle" around this time?

I haven't heard too much of that.

Well speaking of potential trades, when Chip became GM of the Eagles, we basically called them the Ducks for the players Chip was interested in. Welp, now that Chip is with the Niners, maybe we want to resurface the Duck nickname. Why?

49ers and Chiefs are in potential trade talks with Chiefs OW De'Anthony Thomas.

Kiko Alonso & Byron Maxwell have both been informed they are being traded to the #Dolphins, pending physicals, source said. It's happening

So basically with Howie Roseman back in charge of the Eagles, he is undoing every single thing that Chip Kelly did. Getting rid of Maxwell and Alonso, and they are open to trading RB Ryan Mathews as well.

Well, they did hand out a bunch of extensions to guys that Chip vouched for and liked as well.

They did give Bradford $18M a year, and he was Chip's hand picked guy.
