In a way no. Though if the draft rumors just happen to be correct, Ramsey, Wentz, Jack, Bosa should be the top 4. Jacksonville has invested money as I said into their tackle position. That ends up leaving Tunsil for us at 6.

See pink font pledge about my thought of Tunsil making it to 6

What happened to this guy? He was pretty good in STL. Now he can't find a team?

Wow... Von Miller is asking for $22M a year from the Broncos. Well, I guess the only question here is... Is Von Miller Elite?

Meanwhile Ryan Fitzpatrick wants $16M a year from the Jets.

Broncos will be crazy to give him a deal like that.

Apparently Josh Norman wants $16M a year and the Panthers would be just as crazy to give him a deal like that.

While von miller is about as consistent as you get... 22 mil is a lot of money

Could y'all we us getting a guy like hatcher after the draft regardless of what happens. I think he would be great in passing situations with the talent the team has now

He's on a decline. I would love experience on our Dline though but maybe someone like Melton

Vernon Davis is coming home to Maryland. Don't worry he isn't joining our stable of Tight Ends, he is going to Landover, MD to sign a contract with the Washington Redskins.

Damnit

Per Rotoworld

Patriots signed NT Terrance Knighton, formerly of the Redskins, to a one-year, $4.5 million contract.

Concerned about Knighton's ever-troublesome conditioning, the Redskins were also only offering one year, but apparently less money. Although he's coming off a down season, Knighton provides a massive body for an interior line where the Patriots (effectively) mixed and matched post-Vince Wilfork in 2015. Going on 30, Knighton was highly effective in 2014, and can still be a disruptive force in the middle of a defense. He's reportedly in much better shape than he was last year, shedding 30-40 pounds.

Retired Right Tackle Anthony Davis plans to play this year and will file for reinstatement to the NFL later this year.

"I'll be filing for reinstatement to the NFL later this year," Davis tweeted Friday. "Dealing with [GM] Trent [Baalke} is giving me a headache."

I imagine dealing with him would give you headaches. Wonder if he requests a trade to get out of that mess.

49ers QB Colin Kaepernick met with John Elway this week as the search for a new QB in Denver continues. Broncos want Kaepernick to take a $5M paycut before they green light a trade.

Would that be for next year since I believe his contract is guaranteed for this year? Plus I wouldn't take a 5 mil paycut.

Sounds like the terms of the trade are agreed on if Kaepernick and the Broncos can work out a restructured contract.  Keep just has to make a decision.  He doesn't want to be in SF but also doesn't want a pay cut.  He can't have both go his way, so it's pretty much on him at this point to decide whether the money or team is more important.

Poor Bronco fans, instead of being stuck with Sanchez and Kaepernick, they are stuck with just Sanchez. A trade that would have sent Kaepernick to Denver is "all but dead".

They have also released SS Donte Whitner.

Believe me I'm not one of those guys that wants to sign everybody but he could be a hybrid LB/S imo plus the Browns really dogged him(pun intended) releasing him this late and twice he could get revenge. We'd probally have to release a couple safeties but then doggone it we'd be doing the same disservice.
