With the news that the Browns "are done" with Manziel, the current speculation is that he will end up in Dallas because he wants to go to Dallas and because Jerry Jones has a serious man-crush on the dude after the way he played in college.

Personally I really hope he doesn't go to Dallas because that's just rewarding his bad behavior.  He's made it pretty clear he wanted to play for a Texas team and he didn't want to be in Cleveland.  Heck, part of me hopes no team wants to deal with him because of how poisonous he has been so far, but I know someone out there will be desperate enough to snatch him up.  I just hope it isn't Dallas or even Houston.

If Clownziel does go to Dallas, the media will never stop about this.

Shoot sign Manziel and Tebow and start the backup controversy war which will show daily on ESPN. Jerry Jones would think he died and went to heaven.

Might as well if they don't think Kellen Moore isn't cutting it.

I think we can safely (and sadly) say that Trumaine Johnson has priced himself out of our range with the season he had. Maybe he doesn't become FA at all and gets paid by Rams?

Allow me to return the favor by negging you because I believe you're right and this is sad that he couldn't be a FA.

Thank you!

If he's clever, he'll test the market. There should be a handsome cheque (check, US) waiting somewhere.

No problem! Jimmy, Wright, healthy Will Davis (hopefully doesn't become Melvin 2.0), Webb and draft pick? Not too shabby if you ask me. Then, Hill and a true FS (if Webb is that guy) and hey, doesn't look too bad.

Well it looks like Calvin Johnson is heading down the Barry Sanders route. Reports say Calvin is thinking about retiring and that a decision will made soon.

Shame that if he does retire, he wasted it in Detroit without a chance to ever play for the Super Bowl or even on a good team.

Yep, I just read that as well. He was playing at an astronomical level just 1 season ago. He should come to Baltimore for the vet minimum lol

Yeah, I recall you and I liked him a lot. I personally thought he'd make a great safety. He's been a really good player. He would've been better than Upshaw.

Too bad about Megatron.  Part of me was hoping maybe he would jump to another team and have a better season than he did this past season.

As we expect after Kirk Cousins performance, RG3 will be released this offseason.

Not surprised.  I think he might be done in the NFL unless a team calls him up after the draft.

The Eagles have took a TE off the market. They have re-signed Zach Ertz to a 5 year $42M deal.

Tuesday Update: The Eagles have extended their other TE Brent Celek with a 3 year $13M extension through 2018.

I thought I read it was 5 years/$63M

According to Schefter it's a six year deal. PFT is even reporting it as a six year deal. Considering he had two years left on his rookie contract, they probably added 5 years to his last year of his roomie contract or something.

I think that's what it probably is- Five new years worth $63 on top of what ever the old value was.
