The adversity the Ravens faced, learned from, bonded over and endured in this losing season could be the very things that help propel and motivate them back to excellence and dominance next year.

Proud of the team to hang in every week and stay united among all the hardships. Most teams (redskins, cowboys) crumble during these types of seasons. Coach harbs did a good job with this group and seems to have the guys optimistic for the future. As a fan, that's all we can ask for at this point. Proud to be a ravens fan and looking forward to the return of SSS and Flacco.

Watching this team it make me proud to be a Ravens fan. They were down to the 4th QB this season and still were in almost every game. This team has heart and while they will lose some players to free agency the will also gain new ones who will come in learn what it means to be apart of an organization like this. Watching teams like the Browns play in the last few weeks you can just see the difference. You could see that some players were just there to collect the paycheck and could care less about the outcome. Some weren't even there (Johnny Football). Hope it is a great offseason and the playmakers get healthy. This is a team that will be considered a playoff team next August.

I've always stated that after the departure of Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Haloti Ngata and others that this present Ravens team would have to find their own way in this league.  What they have experienced this season should serve as a foundation for them to build upon.  We'll see.....

I agree in a lot of ways this season strengthened the moral fabric of our team. I think this character building process through adversity will hold us in good stead moving forward. Just think about all the hurt players coming back fully healthy. Flacco, SSS, Suggs, Forsett and others are going to make our team so much better. The reps that our young rookies got - Williams, Davis, Z Smith, Allen, Aiken, Butler, etc. makes us pretty solid in a lot of ways and builds real depth. Don't forget too that we have the 6th pick in hte 16 draft and we typically don't miss on high draft picks ever. So, I think we are going to have a really solid team next year and will perform as such. I won't be shocked if we go 12-4 or 13-3 next season and are in a position to make a run at the SB.

Although we lost a lot of games, at least we were competitive. While I think we're still at least two years from being a playoff team again, we should be able to improve next year if we appropriately, and finally, address the secondary.

Cinci still has our number. With that loss we end up with the 6th Pick Overall. Emmanuel Ogbah watch one highlight and look at his game logs in college. It is a no brainer.

The rookies and other new players had to be exposed to hardship and the importance of the family, we will be bcc and that bond they have will pay dividends in the future

And this is why the "Fire Harbaugh" posts and comments are an absolute joke!  Every player on the team still rallies behind him and supports him.

I totally agree. Despite all the injuries and new players being brought in, I never read one comment about any negativity in the organization. The players seemed to be fighting and trying to win every game. Now would not be the time to fire your coach. Hey the man coached us good enough, even with all the injuries, to sweep the Steelers. That has to stand for something....right? ;)

Great sincere last locker room speech by Harbs. I think they play hard with everything they've got next year and hopefully find a significantly improved result. Harbs did a great job holding this team together through the worst case scenario of wins and mostly losses. I have gained more respect for Harbs for accomplishing a team that stuck together through very tough times.
