[News] Game Recap: Bengals 24, Ravens 16

14 posts in this topic

I would never advocate losing.......HOWEVER, having said that, the draft pick we will get this year will be pretty sweet, Ozzie may have to be sedated draft time :) Let's make 2016 season one of the best ever! GO RAVENS!

Eight points is misleading. Key words: spectacular catch; pass interference; play reversed; tightly contested; diving interception. The Ravens unfortunately were on the wrong side of those plays. As Clifton Brown of CSN Baltimore said the positions of need are less important than getting a playmaker - a difference maker in the draft.

Do you really think Mallett, throwing the ball 56 times is the answer? I'm not blaming him at all. When do you remember Flacco throwing it that much and having a positive outcome? Most times they were not. So don't blame Mallett. Really still less than 3 weeks of practice right? I think he will be a great guy to have behind Flacco.

Unless Mallet has a off-season issue he will be Flacco's backup....More i think about it, we could use a bruising back like Henry or the kid for Ark, who can make those 3rd and 2's.....Buck is a good change of pace back, and will be a solid 3rd down back, but we need a bruiser who can punish the defense late in games....Jamal Lewis 2.0 would be nice to have...

Thanks for playing with heart in a difficult season. I'm proud to be a Ravens fan no matter what. Baltimore and Maryland our Proud to have the Ravens here. Let's nail this draft, and get a play making wideout in free agency and get ready for 2016, go Ravens!!!!!!!!!!

Good news is that the organization approaches free agency and the draft on a week by week basis. Now you can turn the full focus of every member of the front office towards roster retooling, scouting and scheming.

We kinda whiffed on the 2013 draft (in no small part because we lagged a month behind in research and draft prep on the majority of the league due to the Super Bowl run) but in 2013 we missed out on the playoffs and that produced a 2014 draft class that features Mosley, Jernigan, Brooks, Gillmore and Urschel, all key role players. Now that we not only have top 10 slots is each round but a bevy of expected compensatory picks combined with extra weeks of prep and for once ZERO coaching departures, let's see what kind of product we can produce for 2016.

I for one am excited.

Taliafarro is their bruisng back, he's been hurt like everyone else on the team, but prior to his injury, it was him not Allen who was the 2nd string rb behind Forsett. We don't need a rb. We need a safety, a DE/OLB and an EXPLOSIVE GAMECHANGING WR.

TF has been put on IR over his first 2 years so tough to count on him....I want a starting Bruising back, not a specialist for 3rd down and short....

My biggest takeaway from this game is we need the most help in our secondary. Our guys cannot cover big, fast WR's like Green, and we gave up way too many big plays all season when the D Line and LB's were containing. 2nd most important, get a Pass Rusher in here, Sizzle will carry some load next season, but we need 2 beasts on the edge to slow down opposing offenses pass game. Good effort today, and all season all things considered...
