Ideal draft Scenarios

142 posts in this topic

I think a good scenario for us if Miami moves on from tannehill. They will likely try to jump San Fran, and moving back 2 spots seems pretty ideal. Still would likely have a shot at vh3, Ramsey, Stanley and treadwell. At least a few of them will definitely be there. And if we can rake in a future 1st and a second this year we can move up into the back end of the first and grab Floyd if he falls that far. Maybe grab Apple , and then Sheppard in the third.

The Gase hire basically guarantees they won't. Read an article that said the entire reason they hired Gase was for Tannehill

Agree and think Gase will be good for RT

Also ideal draft scenario: Move the draft back to NYC (so I can go), and make it start in April again.

It does start in April, but it ends in late April and last year it ended in early May.  It was two years ago it was the 2nd week of May.  This yr it is April 28-30th.

yeah it used to be the beginning old april. I wish they would move it back to where it was...It's too far away!

I'll start off by saying we should trade back to get Treadwell and a decent pick.

I can't agree with that there is no guarantee he Will be there if we trade back

Guy almost made Cutler into a good QB so agreed

The end of last year I wasn't sure what to expect, considering he was with Peyton Manning.  I was never sure if it was him or Peyton looking good.  This past year in Chicago was very good for him as it showed the rest of the league what he could do.

Agree, he made Cutler look good.  Tough loss for him.

when I first read it , i thought which nyc team and make it start in April. what the heck .

then it hit me, oh,OH,

anyway you are correct my bday is april 25 , so the draft was perfect wife and kids leaving me alone to watch the draft.

I agree " Move the draft back to NYC (so I can go), and make it start in April again."

Just thought of something interest. Lets say One qb is taken in the first 5 picks, whether that team be Dallas or Cleveland, Do you guys see us trading down? SF is behind us and I can see us trading down to a team like PHI or STL.

takes two teams to trade. It would really be on the other team and if they value a player or qb enough to jump San fran.

I have flipped flopped a whole lot, but to me it seems like there are too many good second round receivers to not go Ramsey if he is there. I don't want Hargarves or Alexander after watching more tape. My top 3 are Ramsey, Treadwell, Stanley if we're being realistic! I have absolutely fallen in love with Boyd and Shepard. Can't decide who I like, it's like asking if you want Keenan Allen or Tyler Lockett!

Thats what we are assuming, I think PHI could possibly trade up for a QB. Same for STL

If Bosa, Stanley, Tunsil, & even Treadwell & Ramsey are gone I'd strongly consider trading down. I still like Ramsey and while I'm not as high on him as I once was, he's still a good prospect imo. I also feel like he could still go somewhere around the 8th - 15th pick, but he could go higher too with ol' crazy Jerry Jones ahead of us.

I feel like there are so few elite prospects in this class more than before. I really like Buckner, btw, but I don't think I'd stay at #6 to take him if those other guys are all off the board.

I just read we can trade compensatory picks in 2016 draft. If so, this is really promising.

Not until 2017.

well the rams just got the go ahead for L.A,

so I really see a strong trade partner in st,louis , 1,2,2 and what ever else we can get,,,

I do feel bad for the city.

I'll start off by saying we should trade back to get Treadwell and a decent pick.

If we get a needy team that wants a player particularly QB like the niners or Eagles, I'd hope we get a solid 2nd or 3rd rounder. A lot of great talent will still be available in the second round I feel. Treadwell though, I don't think under any circumstance would fall out of top 10.

Based on BPA and our team needs, along with who can make immediate impact, this is how I see our board going for top 10 picks.

1.) Bosa

2.) Tunsil

3.) Stanley

4.) Alexander

5.) Lawson

6.) Treadwell

7.) VH3

8.) nkemdiche

9.) ogbah

10.) Buckner( not entirely sold on yet) or Ramsey, who can be a jack of all trades on defense, but how would Pees use him? His ceiling is super high, yet it is a gamble, which at #6 pick, we are looking for a safe pick.
