Ideal draft Scenarios

I'll start off by saying we should trade back to get Treadwell and a decent pick.

I am very much in favor of this scenario, Treadwell has really grown on me.

If we got Laquon Treadwell, Desmond King, and Carl Lawson by maneuvering around the draft board as necessary, that would be... Can't think of an adjective strong enough.

I'm actually starting to like the idea of Treadwell too, esp in the range we are picking. If we can trade back a few spots and still nab him that would be exceptional. Then find a way to get yannick in the early second and then go for one of the sleeper cbs in the third.

mad love for you,, you are an advocate for Treadwell, I know this cause I would like us to draft him also,

I am hoping we do trade back and get more picks , but if we do not get tread the I hope doctson , what do you think of him.

If we can manage to pick ahead of the 49ers, we can try and hold them hostage for Goff. Get an extra first for 2017 potentially.

If there isn't another QB needy team ahead of them it won't work. If a team were to trade up for Goff it would likely be a team like Houston trying to jump the 49ers.

I obviously reserve the right to change my mind, but I still really like Stanley in the first. Jake Matthews went at 6, so Stanley at 7 shouldn't be completely out of the question.

With where we'll be in the order, we can just sit back and wait to see who falls in the second round and beyond.

There isn't much QB talent available in this draft anyway. Just a bunch of projects. You probably could get good value in the 2nd or 3rd round at this position. There might be a team willing to trade up for Stanley, if we want to give Monroe another chance, but both Treadwell and Monroe are good value in the bottom of the top 10. I don't really see a reason for us to trade picks.

Bosa

VH3

Ramsey

Tunsil

Stanley

Treadwell.

There's a legit both Goff and Paxton go ahead of us. Still stand that one of them will be a Raven

We're not getting our hands on Bosa or Tunsil, imho.

I think Stanley or Treadwell are the best case scenarios in the first.

I still think VH3 could be available, even if we end up picking in the 7th slot.  However, I'm in favor of both Stanley and Treadwell as well.  There are several prospects that I would be very happy with that would be great Ravens.

I could see three teams having interest in Paxton and Goff.  Cleveland, Dallas and the 9ers.

I love the Treadwell idea, I think he'll get more traction as a premiere player as we get closer to the draft. Ramsey is also a guy who could fall to us, I think some teams will be turned off taking a FS that high and instead turn their focus to VH3.

I really hope we get a late riser like possibly Deforest Bucker who can occupy a pick ahead of us and help a guy like Ramsey fall to us.

Leonard Williams was the top-rated guy on most boards last year but fell to 6 because other teams simply preferred other guys. Bosa could fall in a similar way if teams see him as a tweener and his ejection in the Fiesta Bowl raises other questions.

Imo a huge part of Tunsil's fate depends on what happens to SD today. But even then that's an early call and a lot can change.

Doctson's a really solid route runner, high IQ. He has the potential to be a very good player as well.

Unfortunately I don't see Dallas in play for a QB that high, I think they are counting on a few more years out of Romo and will wait on drafting his understudy. I get the feeling Jerry is going fall in love with VH3 or Ramsey, they both just scream Cowbys to me.

49ers I definitely see going after Goff, Cleveland I could also see going in that direction but I could also envision them taking Bosa and giving Manziel a year to run the show with an improved supporting cast.

If the chargers win today... Where would that put us?

That'd put us at 6, unless my SOS projections are off (with the disclaimer that there's a huge room for error since I'm just doing a quick mental calculation).

Also don't sleep on SF, who're up 10-6 (albeit with the Rams at the goalline after a fumble recovery).

Getting Jalen Ramsey, Micheal Thomas/Josh Doctson/Tyler Boyd, and Carl Lawson in the first three rounds would be perfect for me.

1. Tennessee Titans: 3-13 (.494 strength of schedule)
2. Cleveland Browns: 3-13 (.532)
3. Dallas Cowboys: 4-12 (.532)
4. San Diego Chargers: 4-11 (.511)
5. San Francisco 49ers: 4-11 (.549)
6. Jacksonville Jaguars: 5-11 (.474)
7. Baltimore Ravens: 5-11 (.508)

1-3 are a lock. Same with Jacksonville who would move to 4 after today if San Diego wins. If San Fran and San Diego wins, that would put us at 5.

Ramsey is not a FS, he's more of a SS.  He could play a hybrid role, like the way the Cardinals use Tyrann Mathieu.  If that is the case, I'd be all for it, but we would definitely need a different defensive coordinator.

Stanley in the first and Doctson in the second would be my dream come true. ^_^

Trade wise, I think the best we could do would be a trade down to the mid teens and pick up a couple extra 2nd round picks. I doubt we can get an extra first, unless we're dealing with a GM desperate for a specific player. Barring Stanley being there trading down for extra 2nd round picks would be a good deal.

I agree but id add treadwell to that list

I don't know how I'd feel about Treadwell at#6. I will say he's grown on me, but I think I would like it more if we were to trade back to the 13-15 range and grab him.

Trading back should garner at least an extra 2nd.
