I don't mind the signing. What concerns me is we could lose out on a very significant compensatory pick (KO, for instance) because of this move. I'm shocked a 35-year-old TE got 4M/year average. That means he will potentially be a Raven until he is 37. Not many TEs last that long. He'll probably cost us the Upshaw comp, which I guess isn't that bad, but I still better see Ben Watson putting up Pro Bowl numbers because this will be the first year we can trade comp picks.
