The only reason Cincy has a chance.

Is Dalton playing? That would be even better. Then either we can make fun of him for not winning in the playoffs again or we can make fun of the Steelers for giving him his first playoff win.

He isn't, that's why I said they have a chance. Allthough they may rush him back because of playoffs. Edited by Cville-Raven

Anyone know if either SD or SF become 5 win teams, whether we'll draft in front of them or not? Just wondering if there is anything to root for in either of those games.

I'd never root for us to lose to get a better draft pick, but I'll sure root for someone else to win to get a better draft pick.

Me too, wondering the same thing.

They'd be better off to just roll with McCarron next week instead of rushing Dalton back (McCarron went 2-1 as a starter, although he only really looked good against Denver).

If Cincy somehow lucks into the #2 seed, they'd probably play Dalton.

Can we gain any spots from these late games - draft position spots?

To my knowledge, we can end as high as #5 if both SD and SF win. Or #6 if only one side wins.

I'll take either of those.

Thank you, hopefully those teams can play well today.

So we beat the Steelers which dropped us back in the draft only for them to make the playoffs anyways. What a crappy Sunday.

Sweeping the Steelers is still totally worth it. #7 isn't a bad spot at all, and it can only get better.

Ah gotcha. Imagine if Cincy wins and then Dalton comes back and they get destroyed

I think they'd be better off playing Mccarron in the playoffs no matter what sead they are.

Might die of laughter if that happens

I rip on Dalton sometimes but a healthy Dalton will always be a better option than a healthy McCarron, though McCarron has been a more than serviceable backup.

Denver should be up by 20 right now. So many blown opportunities.

Yeah, the more mistakes they make the more I think San Diego is going to win. The sanders fumble was absolutely horrid.

Mccaron is less likely to throw a pick probably but dalton is more likely to make the big yards.

Yep. McCarron is Alex Smith...minus the accuracy...and mobility.

Correct, so the "safe" option if you want to relie on the run game and defense. Which I wouldnt against the steelers but you know they have no choice

Don't really see any positive in it. May be a boost in team moral? Actually hurts us in the long run. All the studs will be gone by our pick. From 6-15 all the guys projected are right around the same skill level in this draft.

It did prevent this from being tied for the worst season in Ravens history. That was nice.

The steelers defense is pretty pedestrian. With decent pass protection even McCarron could move the ball rather easilly.

No, all the studs won't already be gone by the 7th pick.
