Week 17 Discussion (Other NFL Teams)

That was never going to work out in the long run.

Rex has to get a quarterback or he'll be looking for a new job again.

They are actually worse than bubonic plague.... true story.

Wait... do you dislike Pitt more than your own divisional rival?

Yes, I hate pennsylvania sports fans in general but the steelers are the worst. Its fitting that the jets are nicknamed gang green because I would rather catch gang green then have ryan fitzpatrick throw to me.

5 years, to be exact. Ben is overrated as a playoff QB.

I'd probably root for the Bengals if one of the sides had to break their losing run. It's funny to watch the Bengals dominate the regular season games only to wilt in primetime and in the playoffs, but this Steelers losing run (including a loss to Tebow. Lol) hasn't been insignificant either.

I'd love Demver to get the #1 seed though. That was not something I was expecting and New England going to Denver as opposed to Denver going to New England is huge

I'm disgusted, sick, etc. I should also note that we play the Jets next season. I hope we win more than ever before.

The Bengals just need to pressure Ben. Their entire offense requires Ben to be on his A game. If he's slightly off, they're probably taking an L. The Bengals should be able to casually move the ball against their defense.

Jets haven't beaten us since Clinton was in office. Hope it continues. What a disappointment they are.

Some teams are just bad matchups. For us, the Bengals are that team. For the Steelers, it's us. For the Bengals, it's unfortunately the Steelers.

But he wouldn't hit you, would he? Gangrene would mess you up.

I wouldn't even think twice about rooting for Cincy over Pittsburgh or NE.

Well, im writing off pats to make it to the super bowl after I said most of the season that they would. Total implosion at the backend of the season.

You all will get some guys back, if you don't choke in the first round.

Happy it is probably going to be Steelers and Bengals. Either the Steelers give the Bengals their first playoff win or the Bengals still can't win in the playoffs. If only Dalton were playing.

No doubt.

In other news...didn't realize that the Pats have lost 4 of their last 6.

This is exactly what happened for us last year. Screw Pittsburgh. And they'll likely get shorthanded Cincy (who they own even when healthy) in the first round. Makes me sick.

Yup. If Denver wins today (which is very likely), #6 Pitt @ #3 Cincy next weekend.

Cincy has serious trouble with the Steelers even when they have all their players healthy. Now they're with a backup QB and a terrible postseason performance "monkey" on their backs. Steelers will walk out of Cincy with a victory next week.

Cincy needs a San Diego miracle victory to launch the Bungles into the #2 seed. It ain't happening.

He would throw the ball for eric decker and instead hit me in the back of the head while im sipping some hot tea.

:(

You're exempt as a Ravens fan I'm sure.

I live in Philly and Eagles fans...yikes. Though I love listening to their sports radio. So much anger all the time.

Paper, rock, scissors shoot.

So is Pitt definitely going to beat play Ciny or is that still to be determined?

I have to figure that NE losing shook things up a little.

It was a close game, and since then the Jets have been playing a lot better, and the Bills defense has continually gotten worse. I think Rex blows his chance at revenge as once again a team under him falls apart.

Welp... Same exact score, too. Damn.

You made me laugh out loud.

I honestly think that you are more upset about this game than Ravens fans are and I commend you for that.

If Denver lose, it'd be Den/Pit with Cincy having the bye.

Anyone know if either SD or SF become 5 win teams, whether we'll draft in front of them or not? Just wondering if there is anything to root for in either of those games.

I'd never root for us to lose to get a better draft pick, but I'll sure root for someone else to win to get a better draft pick.

Yeah but even still, the O line is awful and the defense is the most unclutch defense ever. Plus we won't get allt he guys we really need back, mile high sucks for us. So heres hoping the chiefs make some noise in the playoffs.

Had I not been foolish enough to include the jets in my multibet I might have been at least been able to muster up a lol fitztragic lol jets even at the steelers getting fact. But now im just salty, chiefs vs vikings superbowl please.

It's hard to say with 100% certainty until the schedules have played themselves out, but by the looks of it a win from either SD or SF would push them behind us in the draft order. Our SOS should jump a little since we just played a 12-win team, but the Chargers' SOS is already tougher than ours and it'll rise too, while I don't think we'll catch SF's SOS.

A lot of abbreviations there, but basically it means that if I'm not mistaken we can still get to #5 with (two of) the California teams winning.

TBD. If DEN loses and KC wins (or both DEN and KC lose) PIT will be at KC.

If DEN wins PIT will be at CIN.

Indeed. We also play the Cowboys, another team that hasn't beaten us. I want the streak to continue against them as well.

I dont know if you remember because it wasnt that long ago, but there was a point in 2007-09 when the phillies were actually a godo team. Their fans at that point were some of the worst fans i've ever seen, the eagles when they were decent with mcnabb also were awful. But I will say this, compared to english soccer fans you guys are cherries on sundaes.
