Mallett is playing Cincy better than Joe normally does .

Don't even think of opening up that pandora's box man. Smh....

Umm, before we go there, lets just remember it's our defense and our guys covering A.J. Green....

Thank you....

I'm seeing a lot of things to look forward to next year. Ryan Mallett could very well be our solution at back-up QB. The youngsters are making plays at the skill positions. We're playing better than you'd expect from a team with our misfortunes as far as injuries go. One good draft along with the injured starters returning would likely put us back in contention. We're certainly not playing like a downtrodden team kicking ourselves for having a down season. Credit to John Harbaugh for keeping the group motivated.

Do we receive or kick after halftime?

If we receive it we need to march down there and score a TD on the opening drive...

Maxx is beginning to look like an NFL TE!! Looks far better than at the combine. He is holding to his goal to be considerably faster and strongerstronger.

I'm pretty content with our TE grouping right now. Butler shows a lot of promise on the WR end. SSS is coming back, true, but off a serious injury and Perriman is still an unknown. Need another high draft WR to fill it out IMO.

For those always blaming the offense, here is how a REAL defense should play regardless of the failures on offense. Keep swarming, keep the pressure on. So far, this is by far the best showing of this defense. Shame it took them all year to actually show up.

Ravens looking much better than Cincy. Mallett is working the middle of the field brilliantly so far.

McCarron seems a little "out of sorts".

If Cincy continues with all those idiotic offensive penalties, Ravens should win this one fairly easy. We'll see how it unfolds this 2nd half.

Lies! Harbaugh must be fired don't you know? (Obvious sarcasm is obvious).

I agree 100%. Too much talent for us to fail next year if we're healthy.

We had a ton of injuries that knocked us down in 2007 so our young guys got some experience and that depth helped us big time in the future. Maybe this year will be good for something

Good point there.

Mallett is playing Cincy better than Joe normally does .

He is doing everything everyone always complains about when Flacco does it. Throwing into tight coverage, throwing behind receivers and settling for FGs.

Flacco threw for over 300 yds, 2 TDs finished with a 92 QB rating in our 1st meeting. Not his fault receivers don't catch and the defense fails in the 4th.

The difference in this game is the defense actually showed up.

Kind of ridiculous statement that makes everyone crazy.

Totally agree.  Now go Ravens and lets end this season with b2b wins within the division and the last 5 of 9 games.  Six if you count the Jags game.

Reminder: this is the RAVENS game thread. Updates from other games go here http://boards.baltimoreravens.com/topic/66967-week-17-discussion-other-nfl-teams/page-999

Please don't make us remove your posts for being OT.

To be fair, some of these games affect the Ravens draft position and the Jets affect the Steelers playoff hopes that we all want to dash

The problem is that each "update" turns into a discussion and then we have a hijacked thread. Stick to Ravens only here.

Look at the empty seats in that stadium...  for a Division winning team...  empty seats this entire game. Not just halftime.

And that's what starts the heated discussions. We put up 24 on the Benglas earlier this year. The problem was our defense gave up 28.
