That was a great catch, but I need to see this guy making contested catches before I get on board. I haven't seen him win any 50/50 balls like SR and Aiken. I think Butler shows more upside and has been consistent.

I would love to see Flacco with more big bodied WRs that can stretch the field like this. Size isnt everything but what you do with it matter a ton, especially if you had to worry about SSS or Perrimen Blowing by you on the outside. Camp has been injury prone, Marlon has been a dud, we dont know what Breshad can do yet, and all be it Aiken has played well, he plays better when the D isnt shading over to his side for coverage. Out of the WRs we do have on roster, if we could keep the following going into next season for TC, I would be happy off of the pure potential of competition we would have going into 2016:

Daniel Brown, 2nd year: Big body guy that can catch consistently. RedZone guy who could play slot

Breshad Perriman, 2nd year: If he can stay injury free next season, watch out, he will have a chip on his shoulder for missing this season and to prove what he can do.

Steve Smith Sr., 16th year: One last year to finally grab that ring?

Darren Waller, 2nd year: Big, sneaky fast, and a great ST contributor. Big redzone target

Jeremy Butler, 3rd year: As much as Aiken played well this season, Butler could possibly replace those stats and more.

Kaelin Clay, 2nd year: KR Only

Chris Matthews, 3rd year: Another Big body guy that can catch in the redzone and be a possible deep threat? more of those please!

Chris Givens, 5th year: Great speed big arm QB = trouble for any defense.

Obviously we wont keep all these guys but with the fact that SSS is 36 and may or may not come back or defintely be retired next season, I would think it wouldnt be a bad idea to have some extra depth come TC. giving flacco these types of weapons our TEs, plus our improved situation at RB and OLine and you have the beginings of a really good team in 2016. I see OZ loading up on D most likely and having the offense attempt to make out what starters they can and maybe draft a WR later in the rounds as insurance.

I said we should get him right after the Seahawks cut him. Happy that we did. I think he has a nice size speed combination. Don't know if we will keep him though.

That's ok. Keep expressing your opinions. You are certainly entitled to your thoughts. Although, if your opinions are different than some others, you therefore must be wrong. LOL

The best thing to come of Steve Smith's injury is to see that we do have other players to throw to. Glad SSS is coming back but we shouldn't have to put it all on him.

Perriman and Aiken need to keep coming on strong.  With Steve back, these two will benefit from his presence and instruction.  Steve will carry the load without complaining, but having other strong targets will help him stay on the field deep into the season.  That's what is really needed!  Need Steve around late in the year!

Can he catch a back shoulder pass? If so, he might be a missing piece of the puzzle since Q was sent to San Fran.

Hope he can, especially now that we have a QB on the roster w/a rocket arm, throws w/accuracy, knows how to move the pocket and extend plays and is not scared of taking even a mild hit. Welcome to the Ravens, Mr. Mallett.

i can see you saying Aiken needs to come on strong, but whatever you are drinking i want some for you to even put Perrimans name out there.

Fergiddaboudit, Chris,... SSmith's coming back!

Man, what a great game you played against our arch enemy with Aiken and Givens! Sure wish you could make a home here but you gotta get 5 yards separation to get a look!

Let em fly!

I think he should be assigned a tender and brought into OTA's and TC. Let him win his place on the team like anybody else. I think he has great potential but so do Butler and Waller. I think two of these 3 make the team.

He tore it up in the SB and I want to see if him and Flacco can get some chemistry going when he gets back. He has all the tools physically. But like all the others, he must improve on overall game so he can be true threat in jump ball scenarios and big plays down field.

Watch this guy closely. He will give Perriman a run for the money come training camp for number one. Unless the FO drafts another speedster. No one wants players on IR but it opened the door for Matthews and now that he showed his talent, it's more playing time. He will take Marlon Brown's place on the receiving corps maybe Campanaro.
