[News] Ravens' 2016 Opponents Finalized

49 posts in this topic

Ive been living in Florida for the past year and a half and finally I have reason to go watch a game in Jaguar stadium. I can only hope its as exciting as the Ravens @ Buccaneers game last season. I had end zone seats where Flacco threw 4 TDs in the first Quarter (Almost 5, but time ran out and the players had to change ends if not I would have witnessed that long bomb to Steve Smith Sr. literally right in front of my own eyes).

Miami, AGAIN! JEEZ! Do we play them every damn year? And what is with us playing the Patriots in Foxboro again? Its a winnable schedule, nobody on this list scares me but then again I said the same thing last year!

That's o.k that we go to Foxboro in the regular season. They will have to come to M&T Bank when we have home field through out the post season. lol Go Ravens!

Why do we never play New England or Dallas at home?

Just for clarity, our last two regular season games vs NE were at home.

We play the Cowboys every four years on rotation, and that last meeting in 2012 was in Baltimore as well.

Looking forward to seeing Tyrod Taylor come back to town with his Bills and the Ravens smoking the Cowboys and the Patriots in their stadium.

We played Dallas at home in Baltimore during the 2012 season.  That was the game #52 tore his triceps, and was told he wouldn't return that season.  We all know what happened... #TeamOfDestiny

Also the game we almost lost by a matter of an inch or two.  Dez Bryant caught a pass in the back of the endzone, but his hand landed just an inch out of bounds.

With Sunday’s win over the Steelers, the Ravens are now locked into a third-place finish in the AFC North.

Learned something new everyday.  I was under the impression that your division record determined your standings in the division. I was thinking IF the Ravens beat Cinci and the Steelers lose to Clev the Ravens would be 4-2 in the division and the Steelers would be 2-4 (with two losses to the Ravens).  And we would finish 2nd in the division and they would finish 3rd regardless of the overall record.  Looked good on paper!

That was the play when both Ray Lewis and Ed Reed got injured, remember it like it was yesterday. Glad we swept the Cowboys the last two meets.

Just as I am sure we will be a different team next year our opponents will also be different but on paper this looks like a great schedule

What?!! No west coast games??? NFL must be repenting for past sins (this years schedule).

We already knew this. When you play the AFC and NFC West on rotation in the same season, you're going to have a decent number of WC games.

As an aside, we will play the NFC North and the AFC South in 2017, so not likely to have more than maybe 1 WC game then either.
