2016 Season Opponents Home&Away

The Baltimore Ravens' 20-17 win placed the Ravens third in the AFC North division and helped finalize their 2016 home and away opponents. The dates of each game will be determined in April when the full regular-season schedule is released.

Home opponents (*playoff team): Buffalo, Miami, Philadelphia, Washington*, Oakland, Cleveland, Cincinnati* and Pittsburgh

Away opponents: New England*, New York Jets, Dallas, New York Giants, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Cincinnati* and Pittsburgh

My take: If nothing else, the travel is going to be a lot smoother in 2016. After flying four times out west in the first two months of this season, the Ravens have only one away game outside of their time zone (Dallas) next year. The schedule doesn't look as tough as this year. Right now, Baltimore has only four games against playoff teams. It will be decidedly easier if the NFC East has another down season.

Really glad we get to play the Eagles in our own town; the crowd should be able to interrupt that fast pace offense a little. That's about the only meaningful advantage we have though because all the other good teams are away games.

Lots of potentially new coaches, too. Good point on the travel, we weren't a good team but the miles and back-to-back trips didn't do us any favors.

I'm thinking we get a primetime game against an out of division opponent. I think New England, or either one of the New York teams will be it.

The group of home opponents looks pretty good for us. Obviously we have to a better team than this year but it looks doable.

Its setting up to be a good schedule. But of course alot can change. The travel is whats really gonna help us. Last time we didnt even have to travel past the mississippi river, we won the SB. Next year we only cross it once, JerryLand.

Thanksgiving in Dallas??

I think it will most likely be Pittsburgh rather than us considering the fact that they have a history with Dallas. The Bengals are a wild-card too.

Not an easy schedule at all. Pretty hard honestly.

Every team we face at home(minus Dolphins) can be pretty tricky; and the away games are tricky as well.

That will be interesting to see. I think the national schedulers were slow to include us in the picture ... we had to prove ourselves over a long period of time to show we belonged before they started scheduling us in prime time. On the other hand, I think they will be quick to exclude us and that we're off their radar until we prove over a year or more that we're back among the contending teams in this league.

The way I see it, we already have 3 wins for next year. The NFL owes us three games, coincidentally we play the same teams they screwed us out of wins of this year!

Oakland is NOT a pushover team bro. The Raiders of yesterday are gone. They're an up and coming team and after this offseason they should be pretty formidable.

I know its questionable to give the Ravens two or maybe three primetime games. Also consider the fact that we got only two after our 8-8 Year the season after we won the SB. I do believe we'll get one against Pitt for sure and maybe another one against NE since those games are always close.

Same with the Jags. I really like that team, Gus Bradly is really building something down there.

Hope we play the dolphins late in the season so the 72' team can come up and watch as we march towards their perfect season

(I say jokingly, expecting the worst and hoping for the best)

At worst, I'd say 9-7, but I expect us to be a 10-6 or 11-5 team as long as we stay healthy. I can't wait for the schedule to get released. Basically 100 days until then. Around 210 days until week 1 kickoff.

Pretty sure he was just taking a jab at the NFL for screwing us on a couple calls in those games and even coming out and admitting it publicly.  He's not exactly a poster who underestimates a team.

Sidenote, i really like what the Raiders and Jags are building.

I'm convinced that the NFL hates us. This schedule sucks.

The schedules are set on a rotation and division ranking from the previous year. Just stop.

Wishing the Miami game was away in Florida, in late December.  lol   Would make for a nice road trip.

It's simple. Win all 8 home games, and steal 2-3 on the road. Do this and chances are good.

The league tends to give bad teams easier schedules... Don't know how, just happens.

Jacksonville is a fun stadium for a road trip.  I live here so I am excited to see my team play in my own backyard.  There is a cabana deck in the stadium as well.

Since it is the Ravens only Florida game next year I expect a lot of purple in the stadium.
