If only we could face ever team with the same mindset that we face the steelers with we'd be undefeated. Sweeping Pitt is the highlight of the season though. Idc that it cost us the third pick because we'll still pick in the top 10 or maybe even top 5 and there is no "suck for luck" type of player this year. Merry Christmas Ravens Nation!

Man, I Love This Team!!

And this season is the type of season that's the true test of a real fan sticking with your team when their up against the ropes. I still think we get a good draft slot  in this years draft but winning the Steelers and sweeping them for the season and possibly keeping them out of the playoffs is PRICELESS......

Ravens Sweep of the Squealers! and we don't have to hear it was because Ben didn't play! Also, does anyone proof read these articles? Mallet didn't have an int. and it was a 13-3 lead not a 14-3 lead. Oh well Victory!!!

Now here is the silver lining for the entire season, we will pick top 8, and we swept the Steelers, and can;t get any better than that if we weren't going to make the dance right?????

This win was sweet. The icing on the cake was to jeopardize the Steelers playoff quest and to shut up all the traveling Steelers fans who had plans to take over M&T and rub our bad season in our faces. The off season will be easier to tolerate from Steeler fans. Feeling much better about the future of the Ravens with Mallett as the backup as well. Kudos to the players and coaches for continuing to fight every game despite being discouraged and never giving up or giving in.

Loved that after the play bravado from Buck. Look at how Jimmy came back. Is this the real Jimmy? I sure hope so. Jerrnigan in on tackles taking names. Juice. Givens won't go down on the play called back to where he was downed! It was great. Mathews up in the air in the EZ! When was the last time a Ravens receiver leaped up for a handful of football for a score like that?  Somehow this is the Ravens and the past few months was just a bad dream.

Mathews and Givens made a good case to be around next year with Butler, and Brown....Add Perriman to the mix if healthy, and if SSS comes back, we will have a smoking WR corp....JMO...

I just want to thank the Raven players and coaches for the late Christmas present today with the sweep of the Steelers and possibly jumbling up their playoff hopes way to leave a lump of coal in their stockings.....

It's like a soccer play-by-play announcer here from Brazil says: Winning is good, but beating The Pittsburgh Steelers is so much better!

I have to give the coaches a hand for this one. They played cover 2 to prevent the big plays which cause Ben to hold the long enough for rush to pressure. J. Smith plays better when he know he has over the top help. Mallett has a big arm to take advantage and Aiken continue to prove himself. Made my holiday weekend.

Buck Allen should definitely be a candidate for OROY. Our bad season gave us a chance to let the young players and rookies shine, and I feel pretty confident with our group. Allen, Zadarius, Butler, Matthews, and Aiken all look like promising players.

probably gonna get negg-ed but honestly, wish Baltimore would have lost.. sure they stuck it to Pittsburgh but now they are out of the top 5 draft positions.. which means most likely another losing season next year. a Baltimore loss would have done 2 decent things (one many would hate but it helps the division) 1. gave Baltimore the #3 pick, and 2. most likely bring the Lombardi back to the AFC north (because we all know Cincy is a 1 nd done) Pittsburgh had the ability to go all the way and the highest chance of killing off yet another Superbowl title for the New England Cheaters.

Billijean, not sure what games you have watched, but the kid has made some insane catches, and the TD called back against the Fins, was a pretty good route he ran....But jobs are won and ost in camp so we will see...

the last two games where he has looked woefully overmatched and has a case of the dropsies.  His measurable are intriguing though, he just needs to work on the rout tree.

Glad we beat the Steelers but hurts the Ravens draft. We're out of the top 5 pick now. This is a rare opportunity to get a franchise star player. It's nice to win and get a later draft pick, but when we have the opportunity to build an entire franchise on a top 3 talent we don't take advantage of that. So we win emotionally but we lose in talent acquisition, you decide what's worth more.

I love that our young players are starting to show up, Aiken, Butler, Maxx, jerningan, urban, Z.smith, J. smith, Get those leaders back healthy next year and that top 10 pick we could be a force next year.

I know we lost a spot or two in the draft...but sweeping the Steelers and knocking them out of playoff contention.....PRICELESS.

Our young players and players we have drafted played with passion...they showed some signs of growing into nice NFL players....

Our coaches had a proper game plan, both Offense and defense.....special teams did just fine.

Soooooo, can we stop all the attacks I've read over the weeks on this site, on coaches, FO and some of our young guys.....and focus more on next year.... I get it, that's it's just one win.....in a long tough season.....but it shows we have a core of a team that can win...We get our front line players back.....and we can potentially be a playoff contender.

Looks like we have our backup QB......and a top ten first round pick....

In MHO, I'm feeling very good about our team.....and yes.....I drink the purple koolaid......so sue me...

This was our "Super Bowl" victory today! Please stop talking that top #3 draft stuff! A good coach has to evaluate what players he has in determining who will be invited to next year's OTA's.

Ravens should seek a pass rusher in the draft, it is sorely needed.

you say mallett 'finished ... with an interception' but later say no interceptions. mallett, with the team for less than two weeks, first game, no picks. with all due respect to non-broadway joe, serious problem with throwing picks; would not the ravens be foolish not to have a serious look in training camp to see which quarterback might best lead this team?

This may make it a little easier for Ozzie to get a more team friendly deal on Joe's new contract.
