I still want the early draft spot but todays win against Big Ben and the Steelers was just so sweet. Lets see what we can do against the Bengals.

Don't care about this game. I'm happy with the season ending with the steelers. Time for the high draft pick

Looks like we have finally got some things going our way. The God's (referees) were pretty fair with us today and the ball bounced our way. Should be a fun game against the Bengal. If we Held Brown down 2 times this season then we should be able to do the same to the Bengals #1's. And even if we do not win it still has been a pretty interesting season (never dull).

I think we now know Aiken can be a strong #3 WR and Mallet could possibly be our answer as the QB backup to cool Joe.

Go Ravens !!

Top that off with ending steelers playoff hopes, and we did it with 19 starters on IR.

If they win and jets lose next week I think Steelers are in.

Or if they both win and the bengals beat the Broncos, which they might do. It ain't over yet.

We just swept the Steelers when most (including myself) predicted a loss.  So, the Bengals?  Ummm...they can get a "L" from us to!  Why not?

Ravens 13

Bengals 7

Moral Victories vs Draft Position. Would be nice to at least say we at least split the entire AFC North, but I'd rather take the L, Get the draft position, and give the Bengals a better seed to then watch them blow it in the first playoff game they play

I ask this question a lot. When you would lose in order to get a better draft pick, what the hell does that say about your character, your integrity, and your pride? At the risk of sounding too much like El Trumpo, let me say that I hate losers, and people who are willing to lose are just pathetic. YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME. Have some pride.

If you're not trying to win, why bother doing anything at all? What's the point?

Absolutely. Bengals are playing for that #1 seed (possibly) so we can spoil their day too. Not to mention that then 2007 would still be the Ravens' worst season (record wise)

They only won four games in 1996 so that's one record that will stand.

Yup. I can finally say I don't care either.  I still want a win.

That said, do the Bengals have anything to play for?
Would they rest the starters ?  Is Dalton playing yet ?

You'd rather our team lose than compete to the very end?  My goodness!  SMH!!

The Bengals are up there for me. I can never rank the teams that i hate. Steelers, Bengals, Patriots -- no particular order.

If the Broncos beat them tomorrow, both sides will be 11-4 and hoping for a playoff bye.

But if the Bengals overcome themselves and win a primetime game, they'll have the #2 seed wrapped up and may or may not rest their starters (having starters resting for two weeks before a divisional round game got Peyton's Colts in a lot of trouble imo, but that's another discussion entirely).

1. Steelers

2. Patriots

3. Bengals

4. Browns

That's my hate list.

I don't want our PLAYERS to want to lose. Hell no.

I just have no problem with and, outside the win today, I welcome a loss. Better draft pick plain and simple at this point. Blah blah blah, draft picks don't promise anything. I'll take my chances.

Again, that's MY attitude. I'd hate for my Ravens to WANT to lose and I don't believe they do or ever will.

Depending the result tomorrow night, we could either spoil their chances at regaining the 2 seed if the Broncos win tomorrow and lose to the Chargers next week. If they win, it won't matter. I just wish the AFC South was just a bit better so we could take pride in not just costing the Steelers a playoff spot but dropping the Bengals to the fourth seed.

I say we win out to close the year, get some momentum heading into next year winning 2 straight to close the season. We end up about 10-15 in the draft order and go from there.

The Bengals are down Dalton and Dennard. They're a very beatable team

They have some injuries, but I think the Ravens are down a couple of players as well...

Although Baltimore stands a legit chance of winning, I'm very wary about this game simply because the Bengals have had the Ravens number for a while now.
