CBS said the steelers are still in the hunt, is this true?
Yea. If Jets win next week, Steelers are out.

Yes, but it requires the Jets and Chiefs to lose, I believe
Just the Jets have to win, I think.

Good:

We've found an actual QB to backup Joe

actually forcing turnovers

Steelers now have to battle hard for a playoff spot and look for a bit of help from other teams

Bad:

Penalties, especially pass interference (none of which can be blamed on the refs, all 3 or 4 were plain as day).

Run D took a step back but surely that can be mostly put on having safeties back at all times to stop the long ball

Still not getting any consistent pressure on other QBs

This is a happy day. Sweeping the Steelers and possibly knocking them out of the playoffs is a nice belated Xmas present. The mentality of the Ravens was to fight as though it was our playoff spot at stake.

yes, but they need help, currently the Chiefs locked one wild card spot and the Jets pulled 1 game ahead of the Steelers for the other one. They can still make it but they'll need a bit of luck

The good:

Mallet- no turnovers. Enough said. That's how you win games.

juice- never shows up much on the stat sheet but he earns every yard he gets.

Aiken- reliable. Not huge numbers but will consistently put up 65 +

buck- had a good rebound game- and held onto that ball! Lesson learned.

Chris Mathews -not only with the td catch but made some nice plays on special teams as well. I see some potential here.

The bad:

Ryan Jenson- costly penalties.

Kendrick Lewis- turn and look for the damn ball kid.

Upshaws foot- really? Costed us a 14 point swing and almost the game.

Screw a draft position this feels much better.

Great performance by Mallet and most of the offense was awesome. Defensively most of them played well. Worst performer on our side was easily Jensen. Upshaw's penalty was awful but I would still put Jensen above him.

What a damning loss for Pittsburgh. They had a win set up for them and still lost. Ben was awful.

When I first saw them show the penalty, he was already lined up in there and I thought he was standing there for a bit and I thought it was fair.

They showed a real time replay and I saw that Upshaw stepped on the line literally as the ball was snapped and they threw the flag. It was nothing egregious and it was another one of those ticky tack penalties that the referees seem to love to hand out to the Ravens

2015 Baltimore Ravens: 5-10 record; 3rd place in the AFC north; 20 some players on IR; beating Pittsburgh twice and possibly knocking them out of the playoffs: PRICELESS.

I was saying both would have to lose to give the Steelers a shot, right?

Na.  I think Chiefs are in with the win and Steelers loss to us.

Damn, really? So they really need Tyrod to step up against one of the best secondaries in the NFL. Good luck

yeah there just always HAS to be a penalty that negates something. Everytime we make a big play I don't even get excited anymore until the next play when I'm sure there is no laundry on the feild. Penalties are really ruining football and watering down the game. I think they do it to intentionally try to keep games close to create better ratings. That's why they kind of distribute them to one side if one team starts pulling away. Hence the penalty when we take a 27-10 lead. They try to keep things interesting. They absolutely have to make everything reviewable. There were 2 plays earlier in the game that they changed on us after the play was over. That givens play was ridiculous. He clearly wasn't touched. And they let it play out on the feild- and somehow they change it- and ofcourse its not reviewable. That's why they didn't let the original call on the field stand. Bc Pitt couldn't have challenged it.

This will be the first time I root against him all season.
