Tomlin is lying! He'd love to make the playoffs by beating the Ravens in Baltimore....cause we'd love to do the same thing to them if the shoe was on the other foot so to speak!

Here in Baltimore. Seen a few [crap]sburgh fans and can't wait for the game. I am ready to see this war. I will stay to the last second win lose or whatever. So happy this is our Christmas game this year for my annual trip

This game is NOT a typical high degree of rivalry in my opinion...... When 7/8ths of our offense, including our franchise QB is on IR, and our top OLB that gets after Big Ben constantly is also on IR, this game is just early 2016 practice in my mind and heart....... Maybe next year when all our guys are healthy and back on the field, it will feel like a great rivalry again.....

If they threw all over denvers defense then theyll def throw all over or team of quitters no problem

Quitters? You're kidding right? There are players playing for their jobs, there future and for the future of their families. Please tell me you made that statement out of frustration, verified.

Big Ben is being charitable; he knows it will be a blow-out, in their favor. Just giving respect.

He knows, not to take the game for granted. Big Ben has to focus on the game; not the opposing team's record.

Of course, he would like to beat the Ravens and make the playoffs at the same time. He is saying that his "focus" has to be on the game and not what happens beyond that. Clearly, he's aware of the implications.

From the WasPo for the team just south of us: "They have clinched a spot in the postseason without beating a single team that currently has a winning record. And they did so after losing 14 players %u2014 more than one-fourth of a 53-man NFL roster %u2014 to season-ending injury" The Redskins were also decimated with injuries, but Scot Mclaughlin, the new GM, built a nice team and nailed basically every round this year with rookie picks who are contributing this year- So injuries, BaltiRavens.com are just excuses to our terrible season this year. Our past 5 drafts have yileded us very litt, no foundation, not many starters...Please stop citing injuries as to why our team sucks... If we have good coaches and a good foundation, then we could be better like the top teams we used to be when Ray Lewis was around..

Please stop blaming coaches and FO.....it's a down season. Deal with it, or route for the deadskins.....

The crying gets old.

And by the way...the great Redskin organization you speak of Ozziebisczotti, they have beaten nobody of worth....and will most probably be one and done in the playoffs...

On playing at M&T Bank Stadium - "It's a very hostile place." ... unfortunately, I'm afraid it is going to be a little more friendly today than usual.

I was sort of sad when I was at the KC game last week and we started the game with a lot of empty seats and then I beat traffic by staying the entire game as so many filed out early. Watched the Raiders game on Xmas Eve ... the stands were packed and raucous.

God forbid this downturn lasts beyond this year ... if so, I do not want to see us get labeled as fair weather fans.

Last week the play where we went for it on 4th down may have contributed to the emptying seats early. It was like a give away td. What was Harbs thinking? The odds of that working was something like a one to a million. Hope he uses better judgement this week. I know I heard him defend his decision and all but that pretty much set the tone for our players the rest of that game.

I agree that this doesn't feel like a rivalry, but I disagree in your thoughts that it might be a rivalry next year.  Our team is 2-3 years away from making the playoffs- we don't have a young base of quality players, and we have aging core veterans on this team (Suggs, Daryl Smith, Steve Smith- if he comes back, Webb, and Dumervil/ Foresett/ Monroe is getting up there too.  This is a terrible balance of old veterans and no young studs (maybe Mosely at best).  We have way too many holes on this team, and I hope Bisciotti shakes things up.   I can't blame the coaching because they don't have any good players on this team to coach.

Since it's a down year for us this year (and next year too), I don't believe Tomlin cares who he plays- it's not a rivalry when one team is at the top, and the other team is at the bottom. We're at least 2-3 years out from making this a rivalry again- the Squeelers have always been consistently good- we haven't been good these past couple of years, and it won't get good next year either- we need a complete rebuild.. I'm just stating the facts, Elam-Perriman who?

Actually you're just stating mostly opinions.
