It'd be nice to see what Mallett can do. Hope he plays some and the Ravens find a way to win the game.

Well, this is definitely a pre season game come early. Looking forward to seeing what Urban can do more than anything, as a starter. And really needs to start.

Regardless of who they select as Joe's backup in '16, they will draft a QB as a long term project. Mallett has had his problems so even if he shines in his Ravens debut it far from certain he'll be the backup.

I highly doubt we touch a QB in the draft. Not really much point to it. Plenty of guys like Mallett and Clausen in this league who are much more "project" material

Maybe - but given Flacco's durability (in spite of the fact that currently he's injured) and his expressed intention to even play until he's 40, Flacco's eventual successor may not be an important issue for at least 5-6 more years - which is way too long to have a possible future starting QB stashed away in the PS or left for clipboard holding. So, if we draft a possible successor, he'll almost surely end up either as a "bust" - like Wenning, or on another roster - like Tyrod.

looks like we will have a pick in the top 3 in the first round

If we lose both remaining games, it looks almost guaranteed.

Winning this game was on my Christmas list to Santa!

If we only won 2 games this season, let it be against the Squeelers and I'll consider it a modest success!

Now, I'll think of it as a modern miracle! Gonna be rough watching this one I think but maybe we can find a way!

GO RAVENS!

Why the heck marlons not on IR il never understand. I'm trying to think of one good reason and I'm having a difficult time figuring it out. Unless we just don't have any other receivers ready on the docket we want to check out right now.

Really hoping Mallett is ready and will play. When he does, I will not blow a gasket if he makes a costly mistake and write him off completely, as I am sure many will. I just want to see signs of promise.

I think Ravens fans are going to have a good showing. Win or lose, we support our team. And if the impossible happens and the Ravens win, and knock Pittsburgh out of the playoffs, I want to be there to see it!

Mallet has gotten the nod. Rolle also inactive - so we may see more of tray walker today. Hope he's ready for Big Ben, bc he will be coming right at him.
