Sadly I still think bengals are 1 and done in th eplayoffs, need some better options at receiver and certainly at QB. I hope they finish denver off here and beat say the jets in the first match of the playoffs.

Better options at receiver? They're really solid there.

QB? Definitely.

The Texans are hoping the Bengals stay ahead of the Broncos here as they can win the AFC South if the Bengals win.

You are severely underrating them.

Let me explain, they are good recievers but are they godo enough to make their QB options look any better than serviceable?

Bengals are seriously good team. The best in NFL right now.

I'd say Arizona but they are surely up there in terms of talent. Crazy to think that in our down year we contended with both of those teams.

Yes and they've been doing that the last 4 years

Well they are damn near unstoppable even with Dalton throwing.

Have you not been paying attention to AJ Green since he was drafted in 2011? The problem with Cincy is Dalton has under performed with the weapons he has and a elite WR in Green.

Now whether or not we see Dalton in the playoffs to truly say this a different Bengals team remains to be seen.

I  have and he is a big boy and good, but I dont think he can make dalton look better than ... well dalton. I think they should stick with AJ in th eplayoffs to be honest.

Agree with all of that.

I don't expect Cincy to win tonight. It was already going to be a tough game to win even if they had Dalton and Eifert.

Cincy's running game has not looked good the past couple games. That's what they need to lean on because AJ McCarron is just not ready for a big-time game like this. In your guys' game, Mallett looked much better than what McCarron has come close to showing.

I know, anything can happen. But, Denver desperately needs this win, and Cincy isn't good on the big stage even with their starters. I expect Bengals offense to struggle moving the ball. I also expect McCarron to make a couple huge mistakes that are really costly.

I believe that if Cincy loses, they will have to win next week and hope Denver loses against the Chargers to get the "bye". The way the Ravens looked yesterday, I don't think McCarron can match that. Idk, we'll see.

Anyway, I REALLY enjoyed watching Ravens/Steelers yesterday. That was an exciting game for sure. I know we're division rivals and all. But, I ALWAYS root for the Ravens when they face Pitt,, always. I can't stand them, and will always root for them to get beat no matter what the situation may be.

Well, he's going to have to use these next couple games to tune himself for the really big games that come in January.

Shame that Dalton went down. I was interested in seeing if he could shake the post-season curse this year. I feel like his reputation in the post-season is partially deserved, but not to the degree that many want to state it to be. It is a team game and I felt like the Bengals were playing better as a team this year than they have in the Marvin Lewis era.

What makes you think AJ Green hasn't done that already? You can only do so much.

Because I have seen plenty of dalton lowlights to know its damn near impossible to achieve that feat, hes not mark sanchez bad but by god hes had some stinkers.

Smart drive by Denver ends in a Sanders TD. Come on you Broncos*. :D

*Don't get used to me saying that. I already plan to take a long shower after today.

You are contradicting yourself.

AJ Green then achieved near impossible - all his 1000's of yards and all the TDs were thrown by Dalton.

Not really, would you call dalton anything better than decent? I already said AJ was a big boy and a good WR.

What I'm saying is Dalton is decent (your words) now but without AJ Green and those other Bengal WRs, he'd be close to zero.

So, they are good enough to make their QB way better than he really is.

Ok thats a fair statement,if nugent made his field goal 17-0 could have been too much for denver to dealw ith. Now 14-10 in the 3rd you wonder if that changed momentum for the game fully.

Yeah, his postseason rep is definitely deserved (mainly for the game vs the Chargers in Cincy a couple seasons ago,, he was dreadful).

Last season against the Colts, basically all the offensive weapons were out injured (similar to Ravens this season).

AJ Green

Tyler Eifert

Marvin Jones

Jermaine Gresham

All those guys didn't play in the postseason last year,, so I don't really hold that game much against Dalton.

This season looked so much better because the offensive weapons were all back (especially Eifert who showed up in a big way).

I was hoping to see a fully healthy roster in a postseason game just to see if Dalton could get over that hump. But, now it's all on McCarron. I don't have my hopes up too high. We'll see.

Does Dalton not have a chance to get healthy before playoffs?

^^ Like Pats said,, it's possible he could play if they are in the divisional round. No way he comes back for the Wildcard round (that would only be 4 weeks removed).

If they can get the bye week, it's possible. But, I think it'll still be too early for a return IMO.
