Week 16 Discussion (Other Teams)

Nah he should win it and this is coming from someone who still doesnt buy him or the panthers for a second. Rogers and Brady have both looked incredibly average late in the season, especially Rogers. Wilson has been on fire late as of late though. He's probably his biggest competition right now.

Carson Palmer.

Adams looks like the worst wideout Green Bay has drafted in a while especially among the higher drafted guys they've taken

So is this game meaningless?

Ryan Mallett has no sympathy.

I believe a Vikings win here would set up a decider for the division next week. And that would be more fun than watching second-teamers slugging it out.

Yup! Vikes win and they play GB next week for the division title.

I mean Steelers D vs Cardinals D is a big difference, but yeah.

According to a fan on the Steelers forums, they most likely would have won had the game been flexed. So we're lucky Ravens fans!

NBC whinging about how a coin toss can be an unfair way to decide a game. I didn't know it was the coin that missed tackles on the first drive.

I was about to come post about that. So it's unfair how the other team didn't get the ball because it happened to be the Patriots? That's the only reason, if it was some other team NBC doesn't say nothing. Yet because it's one of their favorites, OMG call the police!

Next will actually be for the division regardless of the result here. But a Vikes win would clinch a playoff spot for them and officially eliminate Atlanta.

I take it that you want the Falcons to miss the playoffs so their savior Matt Ryan won't embarrass the city of ATL with another one and done?

Mallett and every other Ravens qb have had less help than Rodgers all year long.

Honestly, Green Bay looks so horrible that Atlanta could possibly steal one if that matchup came up. I'd rather not have that possibility.

I'm sure Matt Ryan is a perfectly nice fellow but the media made it so that I can never root for him. A shame, I have no real feelings about the Falcons otherwise.

Hey. If they knew NE lost and KC won, who knows what fire they'd be playing with. I'm happy it is what it is.

Yeah, but to me, it's their fans especially the ones who call Flacco trash for the same reason why Matt Ryan has been struggling this season. Give Flacco Julio Jones and watch what happens.

That Falcons win against the Panthers ended up being worth nothing. The Vikings are killing the Giants and will easily clinch a playoff spot. So basically heading into week 17, the only thing undetermined is the seeding, who gets the last wild card in the AFC between the Jets & Steelers and if Tennessee can hold on to the number one pick or if they win and give it up to Cleveland.

Meanwhile, they think Ryan would have forged a dynasty with a good running game and defence. They're now top 15 in both (were top 10 earlier in the season) and look what Ryan delivered.

So what's flexed next week? Vikings/Packers or Jets/Bills?

Vikings/Packers, division title on the line. Adam Schefter reported the NFL is pushing to get that game to be the flex game for next Sunday Night.

Edit: Never mind, NFL already confirmed Vikings @ Packers next Sunday Night for the NFC North Title.

But yet Flacco was "always carried" by a running game and defense.
