Was that Dalton or McCarron back there on that last play? Lol.

Bungles.

Oh well, helps shut the door on Pitt. Cmon Jets!

Was that on the QB or the center

I do want the Bengals to get the bye though...I want Dalton to have a chance to come back.

Same.  I know it sounds bad, but I hope we don't win next week.  I've already stated, I could tolerate a Bengals SB win.  I just don't want it to be Pit or NE.

Yep. Need SD to play with some pride next week and us to lose.

If the Bengals don't get the first round bye next week, they are going to be one and done in the Wild Card Round. If they stay the 3 seed, they will either play the Jets, Chiefs or Steelers. All three of them along with AJ McCarron still starting at QB will equal another first round exit for the Bengals and another playoff loss.

Now all that needs to happen is a jets win and the steelers are out

Or........a Browns win.

Who dat?  The "bungles" that's who! What a way to lose a game.  Lol!

You mean "Who Dey"? LOL!

Former Chargers player Quentin Jammer chimed in on the Eric Weddle situation. I was looking at the Chargers forums and someone posted Jammer's tweets. He speaks the truth...

Quentin Jammer @JAM_I_AM_23

Damned shame. Not surprised tho.. This behavior is unfortunately become habitual for this organization. https://twitter.com/utkevinacee/stat...71918894510080

I left on decent terms but the way guys like vj, Weddle, Sproles, Lt, etc left this place is painful to see

Wonder if Rivers will be next to have a bad fallout because it seems logical it could happen.

Hope the Chargers move to LA. That way I can hate them because they're an LA team AND because they're a terrible organization.

The Bengals are really struggling to move the ball and the Broncos pressure is starting to hit home. Unless they come up big soon, it looks like we'll be facing a fired-up Bengals side next week. Which (from a shamelessly cynical perspective) bodes well for us securing a top 10 pick.

And that is exactly what we want.

Not so much that it guarantees a loss for us ... but what we absolutely did not want is a game in which the Bengals have nothing to play for and we win a completely meaningless game. That would have the effect of hurting our draft position and not providing anything positive for the team in terms of winning.

I am still of the mind that meaningful wins, like the win we had against the Steelers, are more valuable than a couple slots in the draft order. So I am all about seeing us go up to Cincy, taking them out and forcing them to play in the wild card round ... and if we can't ... then the draft position is our consolation prize.

Well ... the historian and romantic in me would rather see a team that has had a franchise in place for nearly 50 years (Chargers) remain in place and have the Rams return to their former home. If that happens, I'd have to feel for the fans in St. Louis ... they've been the most jerked around fans in the NFL.

Plus they hardly have a home crowd advantage.

You would this game was in Denver:

I'm a little bummed that we have to root against our boy Tyrod on Sunday, but it'll be worth it to see the Steelers home for the postseason, having been swept by us, and yet having a worse draft pick than us.
