Gerry Sanduski tweeted this out about our win loss record wearing all black uniforms. Unfortunately it is going to be 10-4 after today.

Folks made plans a long time ago thinking this game was at 8:30.  Many many people sold their tickets when it was flexed.

I hope that Allen is out of the dog house this week and plays well. We need to see bright spots from some youngsters. Hold onto the ball, Buck!

A lot of worse teams pack their stadiums year in and year out.

What I am looking for today: 

 

1. Buck gets 100+ combined yards, 1 TD and NO FUMBLES

2. Mallett looks like our backup for 2016. He would be a good, low-cost option for that role

3. Jernigan plays well AND does not do anything profoundly stupid that keeps the Steelers on the field  

4. Urban and Z. Smith each get a sack

5. Maxx has his best game of the year

 

Winning this would be nice, but what is important is seeing hope for the future from certain key players.

Rich Risen just said that every time the Patriots have had home field advantage during the playoffs, they've made it to the Super Bowl....  That's not true... we beat them at their home in 2012, and WE went to the Super Bowl..

Rolle is also inactive so tray walker might be in line for some playing time. A little worried for him going up against this team - but we'll see how he holds up being thrown into the fire. It'll be a learning experience either way.

We beat them once before that as well though we did not go to the SB.

 

Nervous and excited to see what Mallet has to offer today. Excited because I do really want us to win this game to keep the Steelers from clinching at the Bank. Nervous because I figure he is our back-up for next season. Show us what you got Mallet.

I have a feeling he meant "home field" = #1 seed. Denver had that in 2012.

We just gotta get this upset. Then it won't matter. They'll all have made that long drive to watch them lose.

 

I recall one other time we let the Steelers take over the Bank. I'd hoped to never see it again.
