Okay, so I know we can play spoiler to the steelers playoffs homes on Sunday.  If we beat them, does that effectively eliminate them ?  Or just make things more difficult ?

The Steelers can't be eliminated this week. They can clinch a playoff spot if they win + the Jets lose. If the Steelers and Jets end with the same record, the Steelers make the playoffs. So basically, we're trying to help out the Jets, who have to win out. Edited December 24, 2015 by Sherly_Tebow

I think the Steelers can be beaten "IF" our Ravens DON'T commit any stupid penalties, make tackles when they should and not give  up YAC,  don't give up the big pass plays, keep the run game to a minimum and put Big Ben on his butt a few times to remind him there's an opposing team!

 

I'll be watching online from down here in Ocala,FL hoping for the best ..... I don't need to see another blowout, especially against Pittsburgh.

How often have they played us when we have absolutely nothing to lose? Also, the familiarity thing goes out the window when we line up with Tom, Dick, and Harry from the drugstore parking lot instead of the players they know so well.

All this should allow us to stay in the game for at least 6-10 minutes. And if there's any team we will be capable of pulling a miracle upset against, it's them.

Mallett was announced as today's starter. I think he gives us the best chance to win.

Really no surprise here as they didn't sign Mallett now for to have him over for Christmas dinner. If nothing else this certainly adds interest to the game.

This is gonna be a day to evaluate the young defenders. Since Carl Davis has fallen off the map and Harbaugh refuses to give the backups meaningful snaps expect something around 2 snaps for Brooks and about 10-15 for everyone else we want to see.
