Glad they made it, both deserve it. And Brandon Williams was never going to get in. For dlineman the pro bowl is all about pass rushers.

Brandon will have plenty of opportunity to get in. He will make it one day.

Kelechi Osemele should of made it. However he did miss a couple games and I am glad he didn't make it. He would be more expensive to sign.

Happy for both but leaving Brandon Williams out is a straight up travesty.

Not a travesty, just what it is. There are other very good DT's (Suh,  Williams is good but he's not a game changer.

Remember DT Arron Mcdonald in that Rams game? (sadly the one responsible for Forsett's fracture) he was all over the place. And Ngata is still the better DT, no offense to anyone. But its the truth. A lot of you guys forgot the type of players it takes to have a dominant defense. Ngata was a true game/momentum changer.

Brandon Wiliams is a guy that has made some plays in the midst of other guys that are making NO plays once so ever. So it does go to his advantage, but I don't really see him playing like such a game changer to beat out other DT's in the league

Just my opinion though

I was hoping Carl Davis would turn into something special, what happened to him?

Ravens fans are fans that rally around their good/great players, no matter what. Even when the Ray Rice drama happened there were tons of fans AT THE STADIUM that STOOD on their feet and cheered for his return(short return smh). Its just that for the past months there have been hardly no good players to rally around!! So Don't criticize the true ravens fans, some of you forget about the Dreadful DEFENSE! chant (back when the defense and players on that defense were worthy). Do you guys seriously get pumped up watching the way this team has played this season, losing game after game...I didn't think so.

I'm really happy that Sam Koch finally made it! There is no punter out there more deserving of such validation. And Yanda - he is a beast!

D.Smith gets looked over year after year...Man is top 10 in tackles....

Agreed stix!  The man has played outstanding since coming to the Ravens, and even this season being banged up for most of it, he still played well.  I was so hoping that he would get a nod because he certainly is deserving of it.  I also think Brandon Williams should have gotten a nod as well.

Finally, a bright spot for the RAVENS. Glad to see these two make it this year. Koch has been shunned for far to long. Yanda making his 5th consecutive is truly a high point for this year. 2 more games and maybe the pain will begin to subside. Bring on the draft and training camp.

Anyone who doubts how much a Pro Bowl nomination means to these players just read Koch's words.

Congratulations to Koch and Yanda!

It isn't about the actual Pro Bowl game per say, it is more about the national recognition the players get by being selected by the fans, coaches and their peers.   To be recognized as one of the best at your position, especially on a broader national stage exposes them to a wider audience than their immediate home fan base and local media.  That national recognition from a Pro Bowl selection helps to build a players resume, garners them more exposure to national media, and can propel these players for future honors and selections like DPOY, ROY, HOF, etc.   The players consider this as one of the honors of their profession and for good reason.

Just a thought for perspective, as fans I wish we would take voting for Pro Bowl nominations a little more seriously by helping our players get more national exposure to help our players solidify and build their resume's for future honors like the HOF. As a pool of national media members ARE the ones that vote for HOF'ers, in the long run, it really does matter. The Pro Bowl has a lot more meaning and future ramifications to players careers and legacies than just playing in an all star game, just sayin'!

randy starks made it one year I believe...

It sucks but i really think his window has closed... He truly is only out on the field for his run stopping abilities..

The difference between him and ngata is ngata is a guy that you just don't want to run the ball at... Because not matter how you try to block him if you put him one on one and run it at him he's not gonna take it any day of the week... That's what ngata is now... BWill on the other hand when he gets Rollin can shut down the run game entirely by himself... Take Cindy or San Fran for example he shut them down by himself Edited by gabrielgrissom

I do believe Brandon Williams is ranked either 1st or 2nd by PFF against the run. He has played much better overall than Ngata this season. Ngata has come on strong for the Lions this past month, but Brandon Williams has been fantastic against the run. I wouldn't say he got snubbed, but I do believe he should have been an alternate at least. He is been one of the very few bright spots on our defense, and team overall. He is going to be a core player for us for years to come, and will make a pro bowl in the near future. What hurts Williams is that he isn't a good pass rusher. If he could get a little better at that aspect of his game, he would dominate games. But he can and has been a game changer, because he can shut down the run up the middle by himself.

Congrats Sam... Well deserved!

We all know Marshall is the best offensive lineman out there too...

Congrats to you both!

If we had a competitive team, Brandon Williams would have gotten the attention as well. Other than Williams I am hard pressed to think of anyone other than Koch and Yanda who deserves to go to the pro bowl. Tucker had an off year for Tucker and because the offense keeps giving the ball away his opportunities have drastically decreased. Here is to 2016 when we dominate Pro Bowl but the players wont be able to go because we will be in the Super Bowl

Remember how good Ngata was back when he was the same age as B.Williams...Beast, everyone feared him.

Has a team's punter ever been named its MVP? I'd vote for Sam. Who else has had a better year?

Yanda. Punters aren't MVPs.
