[News] Crockett Gillmore Placed On Injured Reserve

20 posts in this topic

I was wondering what was taking so long. Hate to see it for the guy. I hope he's OK and can give it another shot next season. He hasn't had the chance of a full evaluation yet due to injuries and a loaded TE group.

He needs to be on the field and now that he's on IR, he has a shorter window to prove he's worthy.

I hate to see the IR nest filled with so many Ravens! Wishing you a speedy recovery and a smooth rehab. Crockett!  We are going to miss ya!   Hope you come back even stronger. :minioiseau1:

I think he hurt his back while blocking Suh in the Miami game. Trestman schemes makes no sense. Hopefully it's not a lingering issue.

Crockett needs to take some lessons from the smaller receivers in the league. I admit, it's great to see him running over CB's and fighting for every yard, but in doing that he leaves his huge frame exposed to shots by LB's running at full speed. I don't care how tough you are, you will not last long taking hits like that. Unless struggling for a crucial first down or TD, just hit the ground and live to fight another down! Get well, and looking forward to seeing you next year!

Fire the trainers by now- or don't let Harbs work these guys so hard during the preseason- Harbs is infamous for working these players too hard during training camp...

Agreed. He needs to be judicious and learn when to push for more and when to call the play dead.

Get well soon Crockett! This kid is gonna lite it up next season but the play calling gotta open it up so players don't get banged up as much! I'm against Lil 5yd passes gotta get the big bodied TEs in the secondary to use their size for yac yards!
