The (good?) Bad, Really Bad and Totally Awful -- Week 15 version

The good: Aiken

The bad: turnovers

The ugly: those pants.

What a year for interceptions. I suspect it has something to do with an inexperienced receivers group.

So Harbaugh got offended, when was questioned about the fake punt attempt, also he said it was 21-7 when made that DUMB decision.

The worst was watching M&T empty. Fans need to grow some thicker skin. Either that or they couldn't watch those pants any longer.

If you think that was empty ,wait to see what the stadium looks like if it ever gets really cold.

I saw a lot of good and a lot of bad. And no none were the coach's LOL

Bad -  Benching Allen was a bad move

Bad -  Those Gold pants

Bad - Penalties, will not mention names but c'mon man.. LOL

Bad -  Clausen was all over the place, missed way to many targets

Good - Aiken looks like he may be making a bid for a permanent spot as the #2 or #3

Good - Special Teams looks excellent

Good - The Defense showed a lot of pressure today against a pretty good O'line

Good - Never say die attitude of those young guys out there

Go Ravens !!

but the coaches should shoulder the majority of the blame.

     1. other teams have players on IR ,, how many do pitts have.

2.the FO, should also get some blame, because they provide the players that should work.

     3. and the coaches should get all the blame ,,, who calls a fake punt on 4th and 9 that deep in your 20 something yard line..

     4. 1 and 3

1.  Not their QB, not their #1 receiver, not their starting RB, not 1/2 their O-Line... We have 9 offensive starters on IR.

2.  They did provide them.  Who expected ALL OF THEM to get hurt????

3.  Hmmm..  they are working with 3rd and 4gt stringers, and guys who haven't been here but a couple of weeks?

4.  They are willing to try anything at this point.  Wouldn't you?????

Just sayin.  it's crazy.

The good : Aiken ,Aiken , and Aiken. Time for everybody to realize he's going to be a large part of our offense next year. He's been extremely consistent with mediocre quarterback play. I didn't get to see the game on television so did anybody notice how tray walker and some of the other younger guys held up?

Yeah, agreed. Aiken has developed on a level previously unseen by Raven WRs. He's a keeper. Didn't see much of Walker but I'm not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Za'Darius had a decent game, Daniel Brown had an ugly game. Buck fumbled away all momentum and immediately went into the doghouse. Butler had a decent game. Not many bright spots otherwise.

Aiken looks like a lock for the #3 next year

I'm very proud of Kamar but he is a three at best receiver.

We are lucky to have him .

Yup ,I do not want the Ravens to go into the season with him as anything more than a #3

Giving Jimmy a contract when he hasn't proven himself durable was stupid.

Just so we're all clear on this, he's playing on the fifth year option right now, not that contract extension. Just want to throw that out there that he'd still be here with or without that contract extension.

Maybe it's just the emotional side of me who has been spoiled to having a great defense over the years, but while results like these are expected, I'm getting more and more irritated as I watch this defense. Nothing else more to add except that we better NAIL this draft.

End of mini vent or rant (or whatever).

But Bmore. He was an utter waste of cash and Ozzie should be fired. Because we fans totally know more than he does......

I'm just tired of people saying the extension was bad and a waste of money because he hasn't even hit the extension money yet... That's next year, when hopefully he's fully recovered from his Lisfranc injury. He was actually playing like a fairly average to slightly above average corner after the bye week.

Just stop blaming the coaches and front office at this point, with 19 guys on IR, it just sounds ridiculous.

Don't understand it either. I do think some changes are coming but they can only do so much with everything this team has been threw. Some bright news though NFL.com is saying that SSS will return next season if he feels healthy. :)

I know, which is why the decision was even worse. They absolutely should've waited.

Aiken has stepped up but still a #3 at best. Sure hope SSS does decide for one more year and we get Perriman on the field next season. TEs look promising. I like West/Allen as a RB duo.

Nothing good about this game.

The totally awful though: Those pants. Who in their right mind looked at those and thought they were a good idea? Steelers are our #1 rival and we wear pants that look like we borrowed them from the Steelers. Ugh.

I think this draft is going to impact this team big in some way. Players now should be concerned because they might not be starters next season or they might even be playing a different position if they are even on the team next season. They might even be on a different team with that being said that is the case for every team every year in the NFL but for a losing team it's just that much more certain. This is the second year of not making it to the playoffs and the first losing year under Harbaugh and I truly believe that's why Harbaugh stated that 2016 starts now. Change is coming we just have to wait and see at what rate and level the change comes this year is it just players or both players and coaches and maybe even some front office personnel.

I just wanna say I said to temper expectations for Buck Allen after he played well against top 30 or worse ranked run defenses, but people brushed it off... This is about what I expected the past two weeks.

On the bright side, I didn't really pay too much attention to KO, but I didn't hear his name a single time, which is usually a positive for offensive linemen. I did see him plant a pass rusher and then just lay on him, so that was amusing.

I was completely wrong when I said I didn't think Aiken could be more than a three. I think he has shown to be incredibly capable of shouldering a full workload. This isn't a situation like Torrey in 2013 to me because Torrey disappeared as the season progressed, but Aiken has consistently produced. Not only that, but he's seemingly gotten better with worse quarterbacks.

The one thing that really impresses me is that Aiken goes up and gets the ball like it has his name on it. He owns that ball. He just goes up and snatches it out of the air with natural hands. I hated how Torrey would wait for the ball to come to him or pull up and stop trying to go up and attack the ball because there was a defender. Kamar says screw the defender, that ball is mine and I love that.  He also has shown incredible body control. I can hardly remember Torrey getting back shoulder fades or out breaking routes to the sidelines because he was usually out of control with knowing to toe tap or to really reel in his body. Aiken seems to have total awareness at all times. A poor man's Anquan Boldin, but he's developing extremely well. Hard work is truly paying off.

I mean, this is about what I expect for the rest of the season lol. We're just a bad team right now and there's not much you can really say beyond that.

Yeah the only thing that really bugs me is those pants

We need his "spice".  I'd sooooo love to have Smitty back.
