Next up: Pittsburgh Steelers

OK all, just a few days ago I posted a lighthearted post about the miracle it would take for us to get a win this weekend against the Steelers. Today, I want to post about how proud I am of this franchise. Yes, this is a season that tested the will of it’s fans. However, maybe the reason we feel so tested is we have been pretty spoiled in the 20 year history of the Ravens. It’s hard for me to believe that none of the storied franchises out there have not gone through a season like this. This is the kind of season that define a fan base. Wrong, right or otherwise I’m definitely willingly to give this franchise a chance to right the ship. I know it won’t be easy, but I just can’t believe this will go on for years. I will be there Sunday. Not expecting it to be pretty. However, if all the cards align and somehow we pull this off, boy I’m going to setback and enjoy seeing the STEELER fans go home disappointed.

Go Ravens!! #RavensNation

This is the kind of season that defines the team and organization...not fans!

All of them I think.

This season or any other doesn't define me.

Actually it does.

It shows you are a loyal fan even when they suck.

You are not a bandwagon rider.

I think it's a pretty important season for separating the bandwagoners from the true fans. Surely all of the bandwagoners are long gone by now; only the true fans would stick through a season this bad and continue to support. It's been a horrible football year for us, but the important thing is to move on, accept this disappointing year, and just keep on being fans.

We have nothing else to do this season but we can possibly ruin the Steelers postseason chances!

This game is our Super Bowl this year .

Well, it's certainly made a more stark contrast between fans and trolls

The Chargers lost yesterday to the Raiders in OT. So, if we win one of these 2 final games we will be picking behind The Chargers. My gut says we are still top 7 in the draft even if we do just that. That means we don't have a legit shot at a franchise altering player like Bosa or Tunsil unless of course we lose to both the Steelers and the Bungles! What do the fans really want? I love the Ravens but would be a hypocrite if I said I wasn't thinking of being in the top 3!

I'd rather just take the losses, does this projection account for strength of schedule?

both of them could easily be busts and franchise altering players can be found anywhere ...it's just about selecting the right guy. Ofcourse picking higher gives you the pick of the litter..but sometimes when teams get that high of a pick they over think it and just go with the guy who has been hyped the most instead of who has the most potential.

As far as I know we are ahead of the Chargers right now with SOS being accounted for. But, that may change depending on how the teams both the Chargers and the Ravens have played this season end up after the season...

The Ravens lead the league with 25 TDs allowed to WRs this season. Big for Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant fantasy owners this week.

I'm seriously considering making a bet that Ben scores 8 times and breaks the record.

Not sure who "They" are but if you're referring to the Ravens organization, I seriously doubt they are losing money. The secondary market mark-up has disappeared and the seats have been filled up all but for the last few weeks. Even then, I think the majority of those empty seats were paid for, but were no shows.

Don't worry about NFL teams and money. I think they are all generally managing to squeak by.

No, you're right, I was talking about season ticket holders dumping their tickets below face value.

Be ready to pick our doors up after they get blown off. This will be ugly without our usual heroes in this rivalry. I fully expect them to come out throwing. Prolly will leave Deangelo Williams at home for the week lol.

I'll face the fact that all people are not the same and will respond in ways that suit their make-up. It doesn't make them any less or more noble, just different.

Lololololol. Just like people thought the Chiefs game would be close . It ain't gonna be close . I just hope that Ravens ticket holders still don't sell their tickets to Squeelers fans .

Who else can they sell it to? It's a Steelers vs Ravens game...also the prices are pretty chp lol

Actually it doesn't.

I always wear my Ravens gear winning or losing seasons.

I never focus on "bandwagon" riders cause their fanhood has nothing to do with me.

Just wanted to get my prediction for the game on record before kickoff. This game is over by half-time as our defense gets lit-up. 41-7 Steelers.

At least you aren't predicting a shutout.

Good Guys shock the world and win this one.  Bank it.

Hey Tank If Charlie Batch can do it, then the fear of Ryan Mallet can be also resurrected and your miracle could happen.  However, we are primarily third string and they have a formidible offense. Expect at least 6TD's from black and gold #7. They win they are in and that is their motivation plus we beat them in their house.

Gotcha - IMO when you are a season ticket holder, you bought tickets to attend games. I have no sympathy for people being unable to profit by selling their season tickets on the secondary market. You bought em ... if you can't make it to the game, you get what you can for them ... otherwise, put your butt in the stands.

Mallet has gotten the nod. Clausen, Magee , McClellan, Kapron-Lewis- Moore all inactive. Means we might see a bit of tray walker- let's hope the youngster is ready to face the heat. You know ben will be comin at him.
