They should start Clausen. After all, he did put up Flacco-like numbers against a very stout defense, w/very little time to prepare. 274 yards and an interception. No one seems to whine when Average Joe has a day like that.....against anybody. Start the man!!

Ravens might as well put Walker and Z. Smith on the field. Every WR is abusing Smith and Webb. Put Webb at safety to see if he can perform there. If not, then they can have a clear decision to let him go.

How many games/years has Flacco played here, w/all the experience w/the players compared to Clausen? Oh.....then there's the minor detail of salaries. Plain hard truth is that Clausen played just as good as a typical Flacco game. It may be tough to see the facts looking through your deep dark purple shades. As for me, I call it like I see it.

Excited to see some of the young players on this team get a chance to show what they can do. But don't want to see too much out of them giving the front office and coaching staff the opportunity to say we don't need any free agents look at what our young guys did.

Cool, but Clausen isn't out playing hall of fame qbs in their building consistently in the playoffs or regular season like Joe has or does, which is why he's compensated as such obviously.

You're comparing an average Joe game to a really good Clausen game, so again, hence the compensation difference.

I don't think so. They'll move Web over and he'll do well enough to keep a roster spot. We'll add to the mix in the draft but I don't think Webby is going anywhere.

Stop the PR hurricane with KO already. First u don't have enough money for his new contract after Marshall got his and now u want us to believe u do. Clear the cap space and get a first round LT like Tunsil. Mocks have Tunsil going to Tennessee and moving Lewan to the right. An unlikely double down. If the Ravens remain at number four in the draft they need to protect Bisciotti's QB. If Joe can score and he's proven he can with sub par receivers and good runners why wouldn't u want to protect his blind side? You improve the secondary and make it cap friendly and find a Byron Jones, Ronald Darby, Mathieu someone with guts who plays smart, fast and angry. You don't have to pick another Gator just because the need is glaring. KO is not as good at guard as Marshall is at Tackle. I would not want to pay him and expect Marshall to forget about it. There's no one on the current roster who can step in at LT. If u start the leaf blower publicity windmill and float Ryan Jensen or John Urschel u'll have a repeat year. Let Bosa go somewhere else. Is he Kalil Mack? I don't think so. Is Hargreaves ready to be a shut down corner. Right now u need to protect the pocket.

I say use Mallet at least part of the game to see what we got for next year in back ups. We are not going to the SB this year anyhow. Try some new things to see it they can work. Shine the helmets. Clean the towels. This season is over. Use these games wisely.

All in all, salary cap has been a failure. More teams are average or sub-par then ever. Players are moving around like they're playing musical chairs. The 'team' spirit is at an all time low. Fans are not getting what they're paying for. Players are getting hurt. Who is benefiting? Maybe owners but even that is questionable. The NFL needs to take a hard look at removing salary cap. Contracts can be structured to allow teams to eleminate 'waste'.

There is no scenario where removing the salary cap leads to prosperity for the NFL. It certainly would be terrible news for the Ravens in every possible way.
