[News] Who's Playing, Who's Not vs. Chiefs

“There are probably high odds in one direction,” Harbaugh joked.  Not one to typically volunteer injury information, Harbaugh played his cards close to the vest and didn’t give any hints about who will get the start.  “I’m probably not going to name a quarterback today,” he said. “That’s probably all I have to say on the matter.”

^ Sooo, as many in here constantly said of him that..."Tyrod is not the answer (as our backup QB)"...then I'd like to know who the hell is?  He's up in Buffalo ballin'....about to set franchise records for the franchise once led by Jim Kelly!  And to think....this is what we let him go for?  What a damn shame!  Smh!

Ok, sorry!  Just had to get that off my chest!  Carry on! Lol!

just becuz Tyrod is doing good in Buffalo doesn't mean he would be doing good here.

And that doesn't mean that he wouldn't be doing good here.

we could have thrown 10 mil at tyrod this offseason and he might have still went to buffalo... Joe never got hurt... I mean I think we all know that he's a competitor and wants a chance to start and shine like he is now

Yeah because being an accurate passer that doesn't turn the ball over with track speed doesn't translate well into our interception oriented offensive attack...

Oh, Ok, cool.  To be fair though, I think Brees probably threw a ton more passes.

On another note, How about that Dan Brown from your neck of the woods?  Looks like he may end up being a pleasant surprise to come out of this horrible season.

To be fair...just give Tyrod his props without trying to take away from what he is about to achieve regardless of what Brees may have done. :D

Dan Brown is a very pleasant surprise.  I hope he does well!

lol....OK Mili, Tyrod  and the Bills are in the hunt and I'm happy he is playing well.  But you made it sound like he was getting ready to break Jim Kelly's passing records in Buffalo.  Let's not get carried away! He ain't breakin' any franchise records.   :P

edit;  Hold on!  I just noticed the date on that article you linked.  That was written 6 weeks ago!!!  His completion % now, while still very good, is at 63% and not near Brees' record.

Go back and read my original post again cause I said absolutely nothing about Tyrod breaking Jim Kelly's passing records man!  Smh!  And Tyrod has already "set" (the actual word I used) records for the Bills franchise man.  They being the most completions without an interception and for QB rushing yards.  Go look those up!

When you say something I didn't say...YOU have a problem Tank.....lol

Now let's get this convo back on track with my point....that being; our present QB situation is trash!

the way you're talking it seems like you are mad at the Ravens for not keeping Tyrod, which is absolutely ridiculous.  The only way he would have stayed here was if he could get a starting job.  You're really making a huge fuss about nothing.

And you sir....have missed the entire point.  Typical in here.  I'm glad Tyrod left Baltimore man!  Those who have responded to my main post which is my opinion....have been so focused on my mention of Tyrod...which was in context to the......wait for it....horrendous BACK UP QB situation we now have going on here in Baltimore in his absence.  And not one response to that post of mine addresses that issue...including yours.  I'm just making conversation.

the Ravens have to manage the cap in order to keep this from happening again next. Flacco has to take a pay cut, its as simple as that. The teams future depends on this offseason.

I have no problem Mili, YOU just made it sound like something it's not. lol

To your other point, there are few situations where a backup QB could come in and perform well. And while Tyrod could be somewhat of an upgrade to what we have now, I doubt we would see anything special from him here considering the Ravens injury situation and the lack of a supporting cast.

Only on a Ravens fan board would we be talking about and praising another QB on another team who's team is actually worse than the year before.

I was told long ago that winning football games is all that matters from a QB...now I'm supposed to praise them when the team wins less of them?

SMH
