[News] Kamar Aiken Showing His Consistency

18 posts in this topic

You can't not like Aiken. However, if Aiken is our number 1 or 2 come the beginning of the 2016 season than this organization has failed again. Smith and Perriman SHOULD be in those two spots. Obviously we have uncertainty with both but with an entire offseason they should have this addressed. Again, I like Aiken but we need to do better to compete. The same can be said for pass rush, running back, all of the DBs...

IR marlon, so we can see who else can ball from the PS. marlon is occupying roster spot that we desperately need 2 evaluate. also IR crockett to get healthy for next season.

c'mon.... Yea Kamar is getting at least 5 rec per game bc we have no one else available. Stick any other # 1 or # 2 Wr in that spot - and they will do the same... or more out of necessity alone. Kamar in a starting role will hit about 850 yards and 6 TDs... that is his ceiling bc he is not a starting WR and will never have this opportunity again. While respectable in his opportunity... he showed me nothing to make me think that we shouldn't pursue another WR in the offseason and left me hoping the perriman is the # 2 guy next year (with SSS being number 1). In other words in his opportunity... he did nothing to make me (or anyone else) think that he could be a legit #1 or #2 WR in this league. I am glad he stepped up and showed he can play but Kamar is a # 3 WR in this league at best!

This team is lacking speed in alot of areas, Lets get healthy for next year, draft some studs, and get back to our winning ways. Kamar you will be the #3 or 4 WR next year.

Mink is getting drunk on the purple Kool-Aid On any other team, he'd be stuck on Special Teams or be a 5th receiver. We have way too many holes on this team, and WR is one of the main ones

IF Steve Smith returns and IF Perriman can play, WR will not be a position of need by any means next season. We'll have SSS, Perriman, Aiken, Givens, Campanaro, Butler, Matthews, D. Waller, D. Brown and Kaelin Clay at that position. And that's before free agency and the draft. If SSS retires, there might be a need for a proven veteran - a true #1. But there are plenty of players on the roster who can contribute.

This article is a bit over the top. We don't need to be sold that he could be a 1 on half the teams in the NFL. absurd.

well the numbers don't really lie. Obviously injuries play a part in that but that's part of the equation.

Its ridiculous to think perriman will start regardless he hasnt earned it and mainly his speed is the only attribute so number 3 would suit him just fine until he earns to rise up so bad mouthing kamar is really classless

I admit I was in the M. Brown bandwagon early in the year, and it's funny because I haven't fully given up on it yet, but still, I'm happy Kamar Aiken has been the making the most of his opportunity. Stepping up, that's exactily what we need!

We need this solid guy because for next year there isn't much certainity for our wide receivers group: I'm not sure Marlon comes back, Campanaro and Perriman are talented, but they need to show they can be reliable, we don't know about Steve, and Butler and Daniel are being evaluated at the moment.

I think we have great potential in the next few years with some of this younger talent. Let's keep Kamar. No one knows what perriman's outcome will be.

Injuries are a part of football and Kamar has stepped up no doubt about it. Love to see him on the roster next year. At least he's not butterfingers!!!

It's been awhile since I did an I told you so, so I guess it is time for one. I said the Ravens would be lucky if they win more then 7 games and it looks like I'll be right. Second, I've been saying that our receivers look are better then Flacco is making them look and that appears to be true also as Aiken is balling.
